Ai yi yi. Where to begin...

Atheism is not a religion, even if believers like to think it is.

Statistics can be made to tell damn near anything, so following the polls too closely can only make you crazy. I don't recommend it.

Having said that, there is evidence to suggest that a hitherto-silent minority of sceptics and nonbelievers is getting tired of being marginalized and frightened about where the world may be headed.

Finally, as for "diminishing godly beliefs," do you really think people will cease to be governed by their fears and fantasies? That seems highly unlikely, no matter what the polls tell us.

You Christians sure have it easy! You can spout that this is a Christian nation on one side of your mouth, then decry the Atheist movement that has taken over your country out the other. Now it's Christianity is a growing force all over the world AND that Atheism is on the rise.

Wow! You can be a victor AND a victim at the same time! No wonder this religion stuff is popular.

These are only the last days if Christians succeed in making them so. I find it extremely saddening that you can not see the sanctity and beauty of the world in which you live. You could work to improve things on this world, yet you are so focused on the next that this world is neglected. It seems that the sentiment is that: "it doesn't matter what happens to this world as I'm going to heaven", or: "the quicker this world is destroyed then the quicker judgement day will come and I'll have my perfect life".

I recently read a statement that said, "God does not believe in atheists.".....so does that mean they dont exsist? Honestly, I personally dont believe in atheism. Who do so called atheists blame when something goes wrong? Who do they call out to as soon as their life is in jepardy? Who will they turn to when the doctors have done all they can do for their dying child? Would they be so stubborn as to deny their child a miracle from God? No matter what anyone says, I will never believe in atheists! - But I do believe that based on scripture, we are living in the last days. But how does anyone really ever know? God also says that no man knows the day nor the hour, but to always be ready. - I also read another real good statement that said,"People arent so bothered by the fact that christians or believers sin; they are bothered by the fact that some clain not to sin." As a christian I dont think Im better than everyone else. I see how lost and sinful I am without Jesus and see my need for Him, and gladly welcome Him into my life. But it does bother me to constantly see "unbelievers" attacking believers. If there is equality for all then that means Christians too..and when you belittle them or bad mouth them you are guilty of discrimination.

The end of what? Because the world will go on forever and the things in it...It wont take over because God is ultimately in control and he who wants to hear will hear and I think we forget about free will and freedom to believe or not to believe even when we are confronted ......

Don't be surprised if all-out persecution against Christians happens and some atheists put their asses on the line to help "deliver them from death" They did in the time of Nero's sick, twisted-*** rule. In fact, it was once rumored that atheists and pagans took Nero out for his maniacal and murderous behaviour.

The end of what? What it indicates to ME is that people are becoming more aware and that they are not allowing themselves to be controlled by fear and manipulation. I think it's great that Atheism is on the rise. I'm not one, but can certainly see their reasoning.
