No, As fact, the jews rejected the words of Peter and of Paul and in the book of Acts you will read that God says in the last days (NOW) that He would pour out of His Spirit upon all (believing) flesh and their sons and daughters would prophesy as being anointed as true kings, priests and prophets of God which includes both jews and gentiles. And this is a divine work of Jesus Christ and the power of The Holy Spirit of God. God is raising up kings and preparing them to rule and reign with Jesus for 1000 years on this earth.

Well, as far as the Jews are concerned, whatever it says in the New Testament is irrelevant. Since Pentecost, or Shavuos, is a Jewish holiday, it only applies to Jews.

Well, Pentecost--that is, the day which commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus--has no relevance to me whatsoever. However, that day as pointed out is also Shavuot, a Jewish holiday, which I celebrate every year.

According to the New Testament...and I don't have mine with me at the moment to give the exact location. After, Christ died and was risen and he told his apostles to go out and spread his word to the Gentiles, they would give the newly converted Christians the gift from God after baptism.

My faith believes that the Holy Spirit can witness to someone of the truthfulness of holy scripture; however, whithout the laying on of hands by someone with the authority to do so in order to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
