I moved into my house a year ago. We live next to an elderly couple. I have just gotten news that the elderly woman next to us has passed away.
Today, I was taking out some trash on the side of the house. Our wall that seperates our houses are low enough to peak over to eachothers yards. I felt very uneasy like she was there on the other side of the wall watching me. Am I nuts, or do you think it is her? Btw, as I was walking back into my house, it smelled like burnt rubber. It's kinda strange.

Okay any smell like burnt rubber or sulpher, that means you are in the presence of an evil type spirit. It may not be your neighbor, or it could, she could have been an evil person, I don't know. But that is a fact about spirits if it smells like someone lit a match, or burnt rubber, there is an evil presence present.

Only society deems the unexplained strange. Because we have all been conditioned into thinking that this is strange it is. But in reality. We have spirit's around us all the time.
Sometime it may feel like someone is there, they probably are. Don't be frightened (this may be hard) but speak to them. Say hello, or if your uncomfortable ask them to leave.
If she has only recently passed its possible she is still taking care of a few things. I from time to time get smells when no one is around or the feeling someone is watching me.
The fact it smelled of burnt rubber would only be relevant to her. It may just have been a way to get your attention or make you aware of her presence. Next time if it happens stay to find out what it is she may be saying to you.

You're probably just a little spooked. It's always a strange feeling when your next door neighbor dies, even if you don't know them. As for the burnt rubber? Maybe someone had peeled out down the block earlier. Good luck, and don't worry!

I doubt that you are the one being haunted. There are several types of ghost... Some are trapped by a place, Some are trapped in a manner of speaking in a certain area of land... There are some that can travel around the world.. But when a person is really haunted it is most likely by a demon(fallen angel), Out for revenge against a certain family or their ancestors.. But your lady ghost is most likely only protecting her property and will never bother you.. And that burnted smell of rubber means that there is also a demon present looking foward to creating a problem for the old man.. ............................................

Well usually a place where someone just dies brings back memories. You know the person is dead but your memories spring back and it gets weird because of that. If this happens a lot then maybe she could have been uneasy but there is no reason why she would not like you. Right? Well. Hope this helps.

People on the other side send signals thur smells and yes I do believe it is her. She is just checking to see who her new neighbor is just say hello the next time you feel uneasy or smell something funny and usual the spirit will go away she's just being nosey trying to see what's happening next door this was just who she was always making sure that the neighborhood was safe, no need to be afraid she's harmless.

It's possible, but you may also feel uneasy if you had any sort of relation with her. It may be too recent for anything major to come up, so keep an eye out for something unusual.

well sometimes people get a feeling that someone is watching them.i always get that feeling when i am alone or outside by myself.i don't know bout the part bout the rubber.but i don't think she is haunting you. she is probably still there for a reason you know.maybe she still has some business to do.but i don't think she is haunting you

the thing i've noticed about people dieing close to me is that the atmosphere changes. all my grand parents have passed. when my grand dad died i noticed a big change. it was as if his prayers held me up and were not there anymore. i had to learn to swim so to speak...
hmmm, i don't know enough about ghosts to tell you if it was her but it could be. i've heard from sources that most of your lower spirits will check you out but leave you alone when they see your not a threat. i wouldn't worry about it just live your life...
