So, I have a style of clothing I like to wear because I just do.
It's modeled after baby-doll-like clothing, ((mostly frilly dresses)) and is in no way revealing or lewd.
Light pinks and light alice blues are the base of it all

Pics are here, if you'd like to see what I'm talking about:

Anyhow, my father disapproves of the style, saying that it is very sexually hinting in it's nature, thus, no leeway is given for me.
I'm very disappointed in it all, because it's my passion and I love love love the style!
But, is it really sexual?
What makes it so sexual? Are there anything clothing styles that are no revealing but considered "sexual" in their nature?

Do you think there's any loopholes so I can be able to wear the style again?
Please help me out, thanks.

Well, considering i'm a bit of an oldie, I think I can relate to what your father is saying. The dresses may not be revealing, but in context, they also have the hint, that the person is younger than believed, and that caters to a class of men, I don't think you'd want to have hanging around....sugar daddies, etc.
Depending on the idea, you might be able to adapt them, to look more of a victorian style dress, more free-flowing below the waist, and that would show more shoulder, might be more acceptable....then, you could look like a queen, rather than a schoolgirl.

My vote is no, contrary to what seems to be the most popular opinion. I just don't they're any more sexual than really anything anyone else would wear. I mean, maaaaaaaybe you could stretch it and say that it's reminiscent of girls' clothing. I think that's a bit stretch...but a valid point nonetheless. However, my general opinion is no.

It is sexual because it's fetishistic like wearing a nurse's uniform all of the time would be. Also, you need to obey your father. He has your best interests at heart. The online community just wants to see you wearing those dresses and seductively consuming a lolly pop.

If you are using nightwear fabric, it would be considered sexual. If you use a nice cotton or linen or a blend,,,I just don't see it. He can't object to pink...that would be like telling boys they can't wear blue....I don't think most Fathers care for the empire look...or deep low, sleeveless dresses....either..but those styles look cute to me done in the right fabric...and I am a conservative, red state Republican, Pentacostal,,, from the Deep South...if you get past me,,,it must be so..LOL

I like it, with some goth make-up and fishnet stockings you'd make a cute, edgy, Alice in wonderland

aahahha yea i honestly agree with your father, most people have a "corrupt" mind and will make something sexual out of it

and honestly i dont know why the whole schoolgirl/childish clothing has such a nature, maybe it has something to do with roleplaying...

That is Victorian sexy....some people would possibly see it that way. Would he let you wear it with a sweater over top so there is only a suggestion?

Those dresses are NOT sexual since they look like something a kid would wear... (unless you happen to be into little girls)
