I believe it is wrong. But I think a lot of things are wrong that are legal. People can only answer to God, it's not my place to judge.

I believe it is wrong. When a pregnant woman is killed, there are 2 murders committed. Whether someone loves the baby they are carrying or not, it is still a baby. Even in a rape case, it is another crime committed and just a continuation of violence and can inflict MORE damage to the already emotionally fragile rape victim. The baby is the rape victim's flesh and blood, too. Abortion is not rape counseling. It does nothing but kill the second innocent victim. And in any case, it stops a beating human heart. The Virgin Mary hadn't planned to have Jesus, either. God has a plan...an abortion disregards God's plan.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5)

1. Right to choose - May a mother choose to kill her child if she
so wants? No, a mother has no rights to choose abortion.
2. Economic and social well-being - May a mother kill her child
for economic reasons? No, a mother has no right to abort her
baby on the bases of economic and social well-being.
3. Mental health of mother - Is the potential of psychological
damage to be compared with the certain loss of life and the
possible agony of a violent, painful, and protracted dying?
4. Life of the mother - Protestants historically justify abortion
when a continued pregnancy would put the life of the mother in
jeopardy on the basis of self-defense and on the basis of
choosing the lesser of two evils - the loss of a wife, and,
possibly, mother, being a greater loss to the family and
society. Here, the intention is to save the mother, and is
not to kill the baby. It is analogous to that a doctor may
not cut up your leg if he chooses to, but he may amputate your
leg in order to save your life.
5. Unwanted children - Why not rather face the consequences of
one's past choices and make sure that the child is wanted,
either by the natural parents or by others who stand in line
waiting the opportunity to adopt?
6. Rape, incest, and the handicapped - The mother's lack of
responsibility for the conception does not remove the child's
inalienable right to life. The unborn child is not the
attacker but is, in fact, a second victim who should not
receive capital punishment for his father's crime. A second
act of violence cannot correct the first. Also, If the
handicapped fetus is human, like the handicapped child or
adult, has the right to life.

I think the idea that a fetus isn't a person until it's a certain size or stage of development is entirely arbitrary and designed to rationalize a self-serving action.
A fetus has all of its DNA.
A fetus meets all of the criteria for a living organism.
If allowed to, a fetus will continue to grow and, eventually, pass out of the uterus and into the open air. That's really all that is happening: the infant is moving from one place to another. People act as if being born is some major transformation of the very nature of one's being. It's not. You're simply being pushed through a vagina.
That being said, abortion is the taking of a life. It's murder. I'm sorry, but it just is.
Humanity, however, has murdered its members since its dawn. People kill eachother every day. I'm not going to say whether abortion is wrong or right. I will just complain about the hypocrisy of our laws. If a woman should be allowed to murder her infant child because his or her existance is inconvenient for her, then I should be allowed to murder people whose existances are inconvenient for me. That guy that hits on my girlfriend at a party and then tells me that I'm being immature when I tell him to get lost is quite an annoyance to me. With our current abortion laws, I should be allowed to kill him. Somehow, however, I'm not.
Murder is the act of ending someone's life (obviously) against that person's will. Murder is illegal.
Abortion is the act of ending someone's life against that person's will and without that person having any ability whatsoever to defend himself. Somehow, abortion is legal.

Yes I believe it is wrong, and no I do not believe a woman is embedded with that right. If I had to impose any restriction upon the people against their will, it would be concerning abortion. The death penalty, gay marriage, tax cuts, those things I can let slide. Abortion though is a totally different matter because 1,500,000 babies are being killed every year in America. That is not "woman's choice" that is genocide.

I think both the woman and the man had the choice when they chose unprotected sex. I am against abortion except for rare circumstances. I think prevention & adoption are better alternatives. I don't base my thinking on moralities. I'm an atheist and base this on right and wrong.

Where does the fathers "right" come into play? Indeed it takes two to create and so why only one to destroy? I think it is wrong and a great insult to humanity. Why hate and destroy the most innocent and unable to protect themselves? I know that pregnancy is not always convenient anor the best outcome for peoples inability to control their sexual urges, but if you are going to play the game be willing to deal with the consequences. Why should another life be elimiated and destroyed because it is inconvenient for you? I think it an atrocious wrong which is a sad state for us as a human race. May God forgive us for killing our young in such a manner.
I guess there is nothing like legalized genocide because of a mothers "rights" If the father wants the baby what are his rights? what is the right of the unborn child? Not one person can say that life doesn't begin from conception. Indeed the growth and progression denotes it is living and growing from conception. Convenience and regret won't change that.

I think a woman should have a choice. I do not feel abortion is an appropriate form of birth control however there are circumstances that force me to say that it should be legal.
I am thinking of instances such as rape, incest, a woman's life being in danger. Unless anyone has been in these situations I do not feel they have the right to decide for the woman who has been.
EDIT: Just for the record, I became a mother at age 16 because I chose not to terminate my pregnancy.

I doubt I would ever have an abortion.
I think its a woman's choice...and definitely not something that a bunch of legislators in Washington should decide (especially when the majority of them do not have a uterus.)
