"It always seemed to me a bit pointless to disapprove of homosexuality. It's like disapproving of rain."

He seems to have an amazing ability to regenerate after being deleted by Yahoo aliens. The only case I have ever seemn of "oops and he`s back". The time lord is among us once again having travelled back in time seven months and opened a new account. Now his TARDIS is parked in the Yahoo underground car park and he`s Dalek hunting in the Poetry section.

IT'S A "HYPOTHETICAL" QUESTION.
Let's say BY STRETCHING YOUR IMAGINATION, that this indeed is THE CASE; TRUE Christianity is right. WOULD A PERSON BE RIGHT IN SAYING SO? that's all. YES or NO?
It's AMAZING that NO atheist can answer this question 9I can't even get a NO). It's a simple, Yes or No. (and the right answer is obvious.)
Note: for those who are still having trouble answering; i'm NOT saying that this IS the case, I'm saying ASSUMING this is the case.

If smokers are made to stand outside, won't it be like apartheid in South Africa when black people had to stand at the back of the bus?

Should we be victimising smokers or helping them?

"As a matter of fact, the idea of the historicity of Jesus has not been accepted as an established fact by each and every biblical scholar.

The work of G.A. Wells, who has observed biblical scholars, readily admit that the Gospels were written by unknown authors not personally acquainted with Jesus as late as 80 years after his alleged death. There is much evidence that the accounts were written with particular theological motives in mind.

A particular point of interest is the fact that the writings of the earliest Christian authors do not actually support the thesis that there was a Jesus who lived in the first century, even when it would have been to their advantage to say so. The letters known to be genuine Pauline epistles and those believed to be probable are completely silence on Jesus' parentage, when he might have lived, his trial, his death, or even his ethical teachings. What makes all of this particularly amazing is the fact that it would have helped Paul in many of his theological disputes to cite Jesus, but he does not appear to have been aware of what Jesus allegedly taught in the Gospels. Isn't that a bit strange?

How can you say everything at the core of a person, who they love, how they show their love, who they chose to have a fully committed realtionship with, everything that makes them who and what they are, is a sin.

Then turn around and say that you are not saying the person is a sin?

My wife is Catholic and she prays to a Saint of Dreams, a Saint of Traveling, a Saint of Animals, etc... Are these not sub-Gods that are being prayed to as individuals? How is this any different than the Romans having Zeus as the main God, but having sub-Gods tht controlled the elements, the seas, and so on?

did he feel a sense of sympathy, or fell sorry for those people that make the mistake, did he ever ponder how the punishment will effect the family member emotionally and mentally. What would happened to the children if their father or mother was stoned to death because of committing adultery, surely they will become an orphan at a very young age without their parents love, did he ever thought of this thing

Beside that he introduce a law where people that was caught steeling will be subjected to severe punishment that is chopping their hand, how would that person feed his family if he has lost his hands particularly if he was the sole bread winner of the family, did he ever thought of this.

This is the problem when an illiterate person cannot analyze or comprehend something that was not from GOD

The "Drivers' Ten Commandments," as listed by the document, are:

1. You shall not kill.

2. The road shall be for you a means of communion between people and not of mortal harm.

3. Courtesy, uprightness and prudence will help you deal with unforeseen events.

4. Be charitable and help your neighbor in need, especially victims of accidents.

5. Cars shall not be for you an expression of power and domination, and an occasion of sin.

6. Charitably convince the young and not so young not to drive when they are not in a fitting condition to do so.

7. Support the families of accident victims.

8. Bring guilty motorists and their victims together, at the appropriate time, so that they can undergo the liberating experience of forgiveness.

9. On the road, protect the more vulnerable party.

10. Feel responsible toward others.

Why do I sentence myself to feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and self-hatred whenever I think about my past regrets?

Im so filled with regrets over some poor choices, that its beginning to haunt me.

If regrets haunt me, I think about this one statement God makes:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John l:9).

I fixate on me failures, and not take God at His word. If the Holy Spirit brings an incident to mind that I regret, why is it hard to listen to what Jesus said? No sin seems to be forgiven at all. Have I not dealt with them properly?

Can anyone give me some insights on this?
Thanks

Jesus said; "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,"(MT 28:19
Christians claim that this verse endorses the 'Doctrine of Trinity'.

Peake's Commentary on the Bible, published in 1919, is regarded by many scholars to be the standard book of reference for the Bible study. Commenting on the above quoted verse, it records; "This mission is described in the language of the church and most commentators doubt that the trinitarian formula was original at this point in Mt.'s Gospel, since the NT elsewhere does not know of such a formula and describes baptism as being performed in the name of the Lord Jesus (e.g. Ac. 2:38, 8:16, etc.)."
Tom Harpur, author of several bestsellers and a former professor of New Testament, writes in his book 'For Christ's Sake'; "All but the most conservative of scholars agree that at least the latter part of this command was inserted later.
