Why do they all seem to be alike in certain ways. Yes, there's a few different ones, but the majority are always wearing the same 'Christian' clothes as everyone else.
I'm a Christian, but find it almost scary that at certain churches everyone looks the same. Why are they afraid to be different?

Time and again homosexuality questions hit the forum, and time and again I ask this question.

Just once, I would like an answer that actually explains to me how you can justify your concern with what consenting adults do in their bedrooms.

Homosexuality is not a choice, it is mandated at birth, right along with hair and eye color.

If there is a God, and he made homosexuals, then why would he demand that they remain celibate and not act on their desires? That doesn't make any sense.

I told all of the students to take out their HW and put it on their desk.(This was just a spot check)

One student refused and had a C.D. player on. I took the C.D. player off of his ears and asked to see his homework. He pulled out a paper that said F**K YOU!!! (I know this kid has issues so I just said AND YOUR REWARD FOR THAT IS A DOUGHNUT, do you want it chocolate, sprinkled or glazed?) In my class a Dougnut is a ZERO! When I checked the next person's paper in his row, he grapped me by the neck from behind and it felt like he tried to choke me. I got him off of me and he punched me in the face. I picked his NARROW AIZ UP BY HIS SHIRT AND SLAMMED HIM AGAINST THE WALL AND RESTRAINED HIM! Then he looked really scared and started apologizing.

1 Wk later his parents filed assault charges and now the head principal has placed me on suspension,
QUESTIONS
1. what do I do?
2. Was I wrong for restraining him?
3. Should I have let a snotty noise 15yr old beat the sh*t out of me?

(Mat 28:20 DRB) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

(Mat 7:24 DRB) Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock,

(Mat 7:25 DRB) And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on a rock.

(Mat 7:26 DRB) And every one that heareth these my words and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man that built his house upon the sand,

(Mat 7:27 DRB) And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.

(Mat 7:28 DRB) And it came to pass when Jesus had fully ended these words, the people were in admiration at his doctrine.

(Mat 7:29 DRB) For he was teaching them as one having power, and not as the scribes and Pharisees.

(Mat 16:18 DRB) And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

take a break from trying to figure each other out and write a haiku about what it is you believe. please don't use this to bash other people. this poem should be about YOU in relation to what you believe.

a haiku has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second and 5 in the last. there are probably way more rules in writing one, but this, i think, is just a basic form.

i'll give you a couple of examples. i'm Christian, so i'll try to reflect that. note to those who are REAL poets, please excuse my pathetic attempt to write:

the dying flower
suddenly begins to blossom
she's alive again

another one could be like:

i am a Christian
i believe in Jesus Christ
He has saved my soul

i hope you have fun figuring out what you want to write! write more than one if you want!

I have two that really mean a lot to me...
1 John 3:1 ~ How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Romans 3:23-26
23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement,[a] through faith in His blood. He did this to demonstrate His justice, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26He did it to demonstrate His justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

God bless you my friends. I love you all.

Sometimes you have silly or meaningless dreams but do you ever have dreams that when you wake up you think, hang on a minute, was it or wasnt it. I can remember some of my dreams from 6 -9 months ago and seem so real. belive it or not some of them actualy come true but only in the day to day things, nothing big like winning the lotto etc etc. Sometimes when I realise that Ive just gone through the motion of a certain dream its like its unblocked a dajavou dreamy moment in which I know Ive already lived. anybody else had the same???

According to the teaching of Joseph Smith one can become a god by having children in heaven and become like the Father. How can this be a Christian belief when the Bible contradicts such teaching?

(Isa 45:21 DRB) Tell ye, and come, and consult together: who hath declared this from the beginning, who hath foretold this from that time? Have not I the Lord, and there is no God else besides me? A just God and a saviour, there is none besides me.

I just posted a question about Jesus having sex with Mary Magdalene and was accused of being a Troll and told I was going to hell for it. Then ALL of my questions were removed.

They can't even talk about one of the most basic of human needs and Christ. If he walked like a man, talked like a man, ate like a man, he probably had a sex drive like a man.

Open your minds Christians and talk about the hard parts of your faith, not just the easy parts that make you feel good. Please grow up.
