According to the teaching of Joseph Smith one can become a god by having children in heaven and become like the Father. How can this be a Christian belief when the Bible contradicts such teaching?

(Isa 45:21 DRB) Tell ye, and come, and consult together: who hath declared this from the beginning, who hath foretold this from that time? Have not I the Lord, and there is no God else besides me? A just God and a saviour, there is none besides me.

Isaiah had no problem explaining that there are no other gods. Feel free to explain why you believe a contradictory teaching to God's Word?

Mormons cannot conceive of the concept of praising God forever and how that can be any fun, being with your loved ones forever. So they think like a human because they cannot understand the way God thinks and joseph Smith creates a human heaven, thru human thinking. It never occurred to jo smith that when you praise God that he gives you happiness back. If God wipes away all our tears as it says in Revelations, that pretty much means we will be so busy being happy, we will not remember anything bad that ever happen to us because we are too busy being happy.

"Sex' in the afterlife is alluded to, but never actually described (because there were children in the audience) in many of the speeches, talks and doctrinal treatises written not solely by Smith, but all the 'elders' down to the present.

You can take virtually any verse from any sacred book and interpret it to make if mean what you want. Smith, on the other hand, was pretty transparent and literal in his interpretation of the bible myths and his own writings. His god of tangible flesh and bones (but no blood) has multiple wives who are the mothers of all spirits (except god's), and he could only conceive of one method in creating those 'spirits'.

Smith also had obvious issues with sex, which brings up another part of history morgs don't like to talk about - or anyone else, either.

Where did Joseph Smith state that? I would like to know where you got that info.

We don't believe that we will have babies in heaven. We do believe we can become joint heirs with Christ. There are scriptures that support that. Here are some for you:Romans 8: 14-18; 2 Peter 1:3-10; John 10:34,35; Psalms 82:6; 1 Cor. 8:5,6; Phil. 2: 5,6. There are others, but those should help you understand more.

I'm also putting a link to a website that will explain it better.

Christian text is fiction. So you can make up anything you want ... you don't have to be LDS to do that.
