Sure, it happens a lot. I also run into a few people I know all the time, even though there are thousands and thousands of people in my town. How is this possible?

People people who know each other have common interests, and go to the same places. Friends call each other often, so the chances are far higher of you going to call a friend at the same time they are going to call you, then thinking about a stranger and all of a sudden the stranger calls you.

Want to test this out? Think real hard about calling George Bush or Paris Hilton or the Pope, and pick up the phone. Go ahead. Do this a hundred times a day for a month. I can virtually guarantee you that thinking of calling these people won't result in them calling you.

EVERYTHING in life is either cause & effect, or random chance.

There is a good ESP exercise, you look at the phone, shout at it in your head, maybe the name of the person who will call, you see their face in your mind's (third) eye, and it strengthens your mind power. You can also try (there are many) looking at the back of somebody's head when you are out walking and try to get them to turn their head and look. This is a good one and works very well with practice. It is not a load bu***hit. The people that say 'what about all the times you didn't get a phonecall when you thought of someone' are fools. Obviously it is a rare thing to happen, so it won't happen all the time. Otherwise we would all be taking over the world with mind control.

Truth is, when we are brought up by our parents, the part of our brains that deals with intuition and psychic stuff is erased. We are told there are no such things as ghosts and monsters and not to be so silly and so we learn not to trust ourselves. When we grow up we have to unlearn everything and learn to trust our own voice and feelings. There is more to it than that and I suggest you look into it more if oyu are intersted. Develope the missing part of your soul and you will open up a whole new world for yourself!

And no, I am not a cooky, mother f**ker....

Yes, I've had that happen. Spooky? No. Coincidence? Yes. The human brain is wired to ignore the hundreds of times you thought of someone and the phone DIDN'T ring, and only remember the unusual times when the reverse happened. Sorry to be a killjoy.

definite, i assume so. My sister, who I hadn't considered in over ten years, died in November, and because then i've got had many desires approximately her wherein she is yelling at me for something. some might say this is a demonstration of a to blame experience of right and incorrect, for optimistic, yet i do no longer think of so. as quickly as we've been infants, we in no way have been given alongside and that i constantly had to wake her up for college, whilst she'd quite do no longer something extra suitable than shop snuggling in mattress and she or he constantly, constantly hollered at me interior the mornings.

Nothing spooky about it, happens all the time.
The power of thought is underestimated and poorly researched. No-one wants to be thought of as 'weird', yet this phenomena is the most common of all extraordinary experiences that we encounter on a daily basis.
Can always be reasoned away by those of a scientific bent.
Happens tho' doesn't it?

I have picked up the phone to call someone, and they were on the line calling me! The connection had been made and I had picked up before the phone rang. And vice versa.
God works in mysterious ways doesn't He.

Carl Jung first documented the idea in the West that we're all connected under the surface.

A 'Universal Subconscious'.

Some who gradually remove perceptual blinders, (defilements & restlessness of conscience), can come to perceive & appreciate it better & better - gradually.

The key is to take it in your stride & not panic, get excited or worked up by it.

Remain Master of your mind.

Only good can come of it, I think.

Keep walking.

Slow & steady wins the race.

I think they call it a coincidence, but a little spooky nonetheless.

Yes.

However of the 10,000 times I have used a phone it has only happened a few times.

Therefore it is coincedence.
