No. The bible is stricly in favor of parents having complete and utter control over their children.

Indeed it says (5 times) that disobedient or rebellious children should be killed. So be grateful your parents aren't believers enough to kill you for your rebellious streak. =P

Not really. The BIBLE says that children, unmarried, and living in their parents house are suppose to do what their parents tell them. And if nothing else, St. Paul said males should have short hair, but that is a qualitative, not quantitative observation. When you turn 18 and move out, you can do what ever you want to, but be prepared for your children someday to use that as an excuse to disoey you.

Yea, Read Ephesians 6: 1- 4.
Now verses 2-3 is for adults who still have mothers and fathers. IT willNOT go well with you and you willNOT live long on the earth if you do not honor your father and mother..., while you are in their HOUSE and under their covering.
If you don't like their rules and suggestions and wishes for you from them..., MOVE OUT AND SHOW THEM YOU ARE AN ADULT!!
OR, how about getting a job and paying some room and board and help voluntarily with some basic chores.
If you are not an adult, OBEY and do your own thing later!!! You got from now own to look foolish or in style, whichever. Why mess in your own hat and go for rebellion?? It just will cause trouble for yourself.

Proverb 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.......

although I don't advise picking and choosing verses out of context to try to win arguments :)

Some parents struggle with letting their kids grow up. Be careful that you remain respectful of your parents while asking them to give you room to come into your own. Good luck with that conversation!!

If They Still Wont Let You Do The **** You Want Then Thats ******* Retarded And You Should Just Tell them All This And Then See What They Think ---->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

CHRISTIANS WERE WRONG AND KILLED PEOPLE FOR BELIEVING OTHERWISE

1. The flood wiped out humanity
-Unfortunately the chinese empire has no such records of a 4000 b.c. flood wiping out their people.

INTERESTING FACTS

1. Not even 1/3 of the Earth is Christian

2. There have been over 34,000 seperate Christian groups identified

3. Though they preach love and tolerance, they are the sole cause of crusades, inquisitions, witch trials, the KKK, Nazis, abortion clinic bombing, and suicidal cults.

5. In order to be a Christian you must love Satan-
-That's right, as Jesus commanded "love your enemies". Well if Satan isn't your enemy, you have bigger problems than loving him.

6. Jesus is actually based off Mithra.
-The story of a divine child being born of a virgin mother on December 25th, performing healings and resurrections, having 12 disciples (the signs of the zodiac), and having a last supper with flattened bread (which had crosses on them by the way to symbolize the sun) was all done a few thousand years before Jesus. Yes, Jesus is a rip-off of the Persian god of "light and truth" (those symbols Sound familiar?). Mithra makes Jesus look like a cheesy rerun. Look up Mithra yourself if you don't believe me.

7. The Christmas tree is pagan
-In order to convert pagan Germany into Christianity, Christians adopted their false god (trees) into the festival of Christmas. "See guys, we worship trees too". ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
-Interestingly enough, this custom is condemned by the bible in Jeremiah 10:1-5. "Do not learn the ways of the nations... they cut a tree out of the forest...they adorn it with silver and gold"

8. There are several missing books from the intended bible.
-Didn't you ever wonder why only 6 of the 12 apostolic books made it into the bible? (Mat, Mark, Luk, John, Pet, James) And did you ever wonder why only 4 of these are considered gospels? (Mat, Mark, Luk, John) If you read the book of Thomas you would realize that none of these stories are inspired by "God". You'd realize that they are all wild attempts at making a normal person look divine. (In Thomas, little jesus turns clay fish into real ones for no purpose) It's just that half of these books seemed to make Jesus look better than the rest. The other half simply contradicted everything Christians currently believe.

13. Christian faith is unbending
-This is my personal favorite. Ask a Christian the following: "If Zeus came out of the sky and said he was the God of the universe and renounced Jesus as having any divine power, would you still believe in Jesus?" Every Christian says "yes I would still believe in jesus". This proves, (regardless of whether or not Christianity is right or wrong) that they would actively believe in something that was proven wrong.

Sorry, As long as you under their roof, your parents have the right to tell you what to wear and how to act.

Even after you move out their suggestions should carry much weight in your life.

The bible is not a club to be used when we want something.

That is what Satan did in the tempting of Jesus.

When Jesus was about to die, he continued to be obedient to his Father.

Jesus learned obedience from the things he suffered.

Should we do less?

Jesus was rewarded for this obedience, We will too.

You didn't say how old you are, but as long as you live with your parents - you must be obedient to them!

Save your rebellious hair style untill after you are own your own.

Do you really want to get God mad at you as well, because of a hair style?

The best thing for you to do is get a repentant heart, pray and seek God, read the bible for instructions on how to do God's will.

Or you could rationally discuss it with them if you are at least 16.

Frankly, I doubt the bible will get you anywhere, and I have read it. In other words i wouldn't use any of the fables in there to argue that point were I so inclined

sorry the Bible says to Honor your Father and Mother
but it has a promise with it

Eph 6:2 Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Jesus had long hair. ;)

Seriously, it's just hair. Plain and simple, it's hair. Your defense is there are no commandments that say "thou shalt not groweth thine hair into a fo-hawk", because it's just HAIR.

Try this out...write this down on a piece of paper and hand it to him

One of these words don't belong can you circle which one?

God
Heaven
Salvation
Hair
