for anti-christians.

God says it is wrong to steal.

If a bunch of great minds(richard dawkins etc)came together and came to the conclusion that possesions were an antiquainted idea and that theft is justified would you agree?

If the government decriminalised robbery would theft suddenly be ok?

Alright, my name is Phil, and I just have a question...

If religious "wars" have been frowned upon for the last half-century, why aren't "political" wars whined about so much?

Seriously, the Cold war....

Vietnam was a war over basic principles and ideas... Democracy versus Communism, no? *propaganda version* "Freedom versus slavery!!!"

The war in Afghanistan is a "holy war"; the christian nations fighting in the middle east. Two totally different ideas: Christianity versus radical Islam

*propaganda version*

"Freedom versus slavery!"

Don't get me wrong, I think war in general is a bad thing, but what is the difference between the two??

Thanks in advance,

Phil

just curious, are any of you overweight or divorced? i ask this because gluttony and divorce is a sin, and all sins are the same in god's eyes. why is it ok for you to sin, but not someone else?

I tried to trade my soul for the ability to play the guitar. Nothing happened right away which led me to two possibilities.

1. Satan already knew I was going to Hell so my soul belonged to him anyway.

2.Satan didn't actually exist.

However, it is now twenty years later and I can play the guitar like a madman. So my questions are:

1. Is my ability to play the guitar a result of all the years I put into practicing and my eagerness to learn?

2. Or is it a result of my deal that I wagered with the devil, and now I am damned to an eternity in the lake of fire.

(I was very ceremonious with a lot of chanting, some incantations I learned from a book, a little bit of bloodshed, and a goats head. Also, when I think back, I really didn't specify any limits timewise.)

John 14

1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The number of idiots is increasing day-by-day, i wonder if evolution will eventually somehow biologically start to favour people with an IQ of less then 50.

look here
Why are we referred to as non-believers? It's just plain offensive. The word believer is given as something good and we are "non" or not good. Why arne't WE called interlectuals and believers called non-interlectuals.

Its just like calling people "non-whites" You 'belivers are all racist against athiests. ADMIT IT.

i've been "bi" for a number of years now. but lately it seems like i just can't be bothered by all these nice, seemingly attractive men who keep getting interested in me and asking me out on dates. i feel like i've reached a point where i really love women and am intensely attracted to them, but when it comes to men, it seems i don't really need one to be happy. have i reached the "gay later" point ("bi now, gay later")????

In the last census carried out in the UK in 2001 it was shown that approximately 72% of the population classified themselves as 'christians'.

When the next census is carried out in 2011 do you think this number will increase or decrease?

Many years ago when I was a teenager, I was waiting for a friend to finish work in the reception of a office block she worked. When I was approached by a older man, he was trying to make conversation but I was polite but cool toward him. He left thrusting a leaflet flyer type thing in my hands. Inside was a £50.00 note. What weird meeting have you had with a stranger.

What would you think of a "bible Christian" who doesn't know Luke was not one of the first 12 apostles? I have a friend who likes to think he knows more than Catholics about Christianity because he claims to be a "bible believer" yet when I tested him with a naming of the apostles he couldn't and was so proudful that St. Luke was one of the 12 he only apologised to me after finding no gospel list in the NT which contained Luke.

BTW this man is a medical surgeon and prides himself on his educational background by I find he wants respect in fields of study he hasn't been trained for. I've come to understand there are more Catholics who are "bible Christians" than non-Catholics claiming to be.
