hi to everyone who has faith in his heart and people of faith, i want to ask my christian brother an honest question.

if someone worship only one God (which you called father), and accept all prophets of God included Jesus son of Mary will go to Hell? and the one who worship three heads of God (trinity- mostly they worship Jesus more than the other two heads) will go to heaven?

so if someone followed the path of all the prophet of Gods by worshiping one God will go to Hell, and those who follow the path of John will go to heaven?

1st commandment: you shall not take other gods before Me! (God alone)

it is believed that there would be:

no good without evil.
no light without darkness.
no...well you get the point.

would it be safe to say that there would be no atheism without religion?

I am always amazed at the sheer ignorance, denial, and false assertions the christian fundies or creationists spew forth in this forum. Truly, some of the god fearing, science hating and brainwshed remarks are almost frightening in their infantile concepts of reality..

So I am curious, does anyone have an "informed" guesstimate of what percentage of the USA is in this collective bubble of religious denial and ignorance..?

I'm aware of the christian's: "more people are coming over to god" and "more scientists believe in god" lies and arguments, but does anyone have an objective estimate of the percentage of the population who are like this?

I think it is a big worry, and the children they brainwash should be of great concern as well..

I can understand [although disagree] why the state would enjoy an easily controlled, uninformed political power base, but what drives this denial and ignorance in the individual..?

I pity America for this infestation of lies and ignorance.

Thank you for your input.

I just sent a small regular envelope with a 39 cent stamp on it. The stamp was in the upper right hand corner. I also had the address for it to be sent to in the upper left hand corner. Did I need a return address on it? Is the stamp enough? Please give me as much info on this as possible even if the info is just random facts. Thank you so much for any help! :)

Or are we all just gonna eat shiit one day and that be it?

Cause face it, this world has seen better times (maybe a brief period during the dark ages) and now it's been used like a dirty whore and only gettin worse... I don't have any statistical facts for you but it's obvios that world peace is an unconcievable idea and that people would much rather kill each other than help out. So do you think we're gonna be ok? cos i have my doubts.

How can Jesus be Fully man and Fully God?

i've been with my boyfriend nearly 2 years. for our 2 year anniversary, i would really love to do someting very special for him, physically. we've not had sex as i'm catholic and he's been extremely supportive of that (he is agnostic). he's also a bit older than me (he's 28 ; i'm 22). i feel like we wont be married any time soon cuz i'm still living at home and finishing college plus there are a ton of other circumstances etc... so there is no way to shorten the waiting period on the actual sex.

however, it baffles me why oral sex should be wrong. we haven't done it yet but this is mostly due to my upbringing and the fear of it as such. so i was thinking, for the 2nd anniversary, why not do it...? to other catholics out there, why is it a sin in a loving meaningful relationship with a future? why is it even SEX if there is no penetration? my boyfriend is wonderful but he is also just a man. i want so bad to please him.

any openminded non judging people, feel free to comment&help

Did you find your religion? (You searched and searched and found your current religion?)

Did your religion find you? (you were not looking to change religions but it just happened)

or did you inherited your religion? (it came from your parent's/family teachings)

I am a christian and I support gay rights. My belief for marrige is that if two guys love each other than let them get married. I am confused when it comes to what God wants and my friends all are totally against it! So I'd like to know why everyone isn't supportive of Gay Rights and what God would think of me for supporting their rights.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji was the tenth Guru of the Sikhs and like his predecessors was God in the form of a human.
At the age of 11, Bhai Gobind Rai( Name during childhood) told his father that he should sacrifice his own life for the Hindu cause. In His very short span of life he wrote many religious shabads & sholoks etc in many languages, once time he write a Shabad " Deh Shiva var mohe, subh kar man kabhu na daru" My question is that to all scholers & other great historians that if there is any resemblance in between Him & BHAGWAN SHANKER as he addressed in his shabad Deh Shiva var mohe........ if not then to whom he addressed Shiva

Why is it that some people can't accept the fact that same-sex couples got married in Massachusetts and stop trying to break the marriages up? They're voting on a referendum in the MA state legislature this week--likely tomorrow--that would permit a vote on a constitutional amendment against same-sex marriage.

I want to be articulate, but all I feel like doing is screaming WHY?!?! Why did my wife and I need our legal status taken away for a few months? Why are people trying so hard just to wreck things for other people? Why can't they work on their own marriages if they're "pro-marriage"?

A horrible woman in our gym tried coming on to my wife. She wanted to break up our marriage 'cause she wanted a hot woman for herself, damn the consequences. I think the "pro-family" activists are even more selfish than she is. They want to take away the legal status, and don't even know *us* to know they hate us.

WHY?
