I've seen numerous interviews with Tammy on Larry King and I never once saw a fear of death. No one wants to die, its not natural for a human to want to die. She feels she has more living to do that's all. Just like King Hezekiah. She still human you know. I think she's holding up rather well, considering.

Death is harder to take when you are looking at it straight in the face.

To each is appointed a "time to live and a time to die" and as humans we accept that fact. As believers we know that to "be absent of our bodies is to be present with God". But going back to our human nature......the actual process can be very painful for cancer victims, the unknown frightening and the bravest of us all will still do not know that feeling unless we face it. I have actually seen several interviews with her and she has not voiced fear but actually courage and trust. While God can heal, we are taught that our "riches" are in heaven and not earth.

I think most humans are afraid to die,I`ve had some close calls in my life was shot at at age 17 had a knife pulled on my in the year 2000, talked the guy with the knife to hand it over to me ,the guy that took a shot at me last I heard he was instutionalized , the shot he took went between three of us not sure really which one of us he was shooting at I was young at that time as we all were.I mean the fear kicks in .if given the choice no one really wants to die but we are all born to die, each day brings us closer to our time we die.

I don't know to many people that are not afraid to die. It is the fear of the unknown.
Personally death no longer frightens me at all. However dieing scares the crap out of me.

Because deep down, many religious people realize how much they "made up" in the course of their sermons.

Is she dying? I didn't know. Can you give a link where you read this?

But to answer your question, I have no idea why she's afraid, maybe guilt?
