Hilarious. Could one of you go out and get a Christian to answer this question?

I think it is because the lost atheists can't make up their minds. IT depends on the time of day...sometimes it is a religion, sometimes it isn't, sometimes it is a spirituality..and sometimes just the lack of spirituality. It is because the atheist psyche is not able to process life.

Yes, it is something of a religion. Faith is a basic human experience that we are ingrained with. Christians, atheists, Jews, Muslims, and other religions all believe in something. We all have faith in a way of life or thought that we accept as truth. In that, the atheist and the Christian are identical. We differ as to what the truth is. From what I've learned of atheists so far, their "god" is chance or self.

I think it's pretty accurate to say they really just can't understand life without religion. They're used to thinking in terms of religion, so everything becomes about religion to them. Any belief automatically becomes "religion".

I don't know honestly. Maybe it's because they believe that following no God is following a belief which is a religion? Heck if I know.

Lol no it's not genetic.

Many of them use it as a "So Are You!" defense.

If Atheists attack all religions, it enables fundies to say "I know you are, but what am I?" in old school PeeWee style.

Because they cannot believe that we have examined their claims and find them to be false, they do not believe in reason.
