WHAT IF IT ISN'T?
That's the question any religious person should be asking themselves.

You have your question all wrong buddy..
Islam..Christianity and Judaism were all sent by God.
As the words of God spread however with many differences, All these religions eventually evolved into there own branches. God didnt send "Islam", Allah sent his word to everyone and different people interpreted it in different ways.
God sent jesus, Jews didnt believe in him, so there we have it, Christianity.
Islam, was sent by God as the TRUE religion according to Islam because it didnt slander its prophets nor change Allah's words around. The Quran was and still is the same.

Mulims think that their religion is an improved version of Christianity, as Chritianity an improved version of Judaism. They think that their religion is truly monotheitic. They really have problem with the concept of Trinity. They think Jesus was only a prophet before Mohammed, not the son of God.
They belive humans are born pure, not with original sin. All the deeds, both good and bad, will be counted for each person at judgement day. Hell may be only a temporary place of punishment for people who are not too bad.

All religions were sent from God. Even the ones that piss us off. All religions piss somebody off. I think that's part of the God-given experience.

But then that would present another question.... Sunni Shiite Sufi. Would the interpretation be literal, interpretive, etc? Depends... I believe in a God that is worthy of great adoration and worship, who is loving and fatherly, but I don't believe in a God that condones suicide bombings.

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
The above is the only religion that God ask us to do. Ever since He sent Jesus to the earth, God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. We can not earn salvation, no matter how good or religious we are. Only Jesus can save us.
God sent Jesus, not religion.

IF the Bible is true, most religion and churches are the 'whore' that god refers to. Islam is as likely to be sent by your god as any other religion I suppose. (So not likely)

Much of it is based on the history already in the Bible. So where does it actually come from? Sound like a mixture of truth and imagination.
