i asked that why don't people say that for BUSH and BLAIR all christans n jewish are terrorists. Cause they CANT. a person can't measure the weight of a religion.
If a christian man is a robber, doesn't mean that all christians are robbers.
Similiarly, if a muslim man is a terrorist, doesn;t mean all muslims are terrorist.
For some people's information (who blamed quran as root of terrorism), u open ur eyes and go read the quran. if you dont want to, then shut ur stupid mouth. dont have comments on things u dont know! u cant find even a single word in quran saying to kill people to establish islam. It teaches us not to even hit a person before he does something to me.
Islam never teaches you to kill innocent people in the name of religion, NEVER!!
If anyone has proof that quran said to kill people, PLEASE contact me.
It's some people who r muslims by name only but got the religion all wrong.

For those of you who don't know. The Westboro Baptist Church is a church ran by Fred Phelps. Their reason for having this church is to protest at funerals of fallen soldiers, memorial services of bad events (such as 911 and the Va. Tech shooting), as well as funerals for gays and lesbians. They think that God is blaming homosexuals for all the bad things that happen to the world and he's punishing everyone for their "sinning." Do you agree that this is logical or not?

has the "other team" gotten you to at least once question your beliefs?

has either side presented an arguement so compelling that you have had to ponder it's actuality, even if you came back to your original conclusion about your own beliefs?

if not, could it be that you are too closed minded, especially since nobody will truly know the truth until they die? (no matter what evidence or lack thereof you currently have)

...after so many people responded to my last question asking, "If god doesn't exist, how could he send you an e-mail TELLING you he doesn't exist?"

Well, God wrote me back again, explaining that, since Christians insist that God exists outside of time and space (therefor not being bound to the standard "rules" of the universe, like requiring a cause or a creator himself), he also is capable of existing outside of existence itself! After all -- he IS God, isn't he?

So I wrote back, "Wait a minute -- that makes NO sense! That's just gibberish, a string of words that mean things individually but are complete nonsense when put together as a group. Existing with being required to exist? That's as bad as the Trinity -- three beings who are also one, and one being the father of the other while simultaneously never having been without the other two?"

God wrote back, "What are you, some kind of smart-@ss?"

Then he proceeded to e-smite me.

Does God's argument sound reasonable?

I am named David, but in everyday (non working) life everyone calls me Dave. In professional contexts, people tend to call me David even if I sign off emails as Dave. Obviously they feel this is more appropriate.

Is it really so bad to call yourself by the shortened version in business contexts?

do you think religion is still relevant in todays world...when we have good scientific explanation for almost everything...i have always believed that religion is only the need of man to explain something "right now" beyond his understanding...just for time being until science finds an answer...u will have to agree that technology has saved more lives than prayers...as for the downside of technology...isnt the same seen in religion also...these multiple religion of world have divided more than they have unified...much of the terrorism has underlying :"religious" twisted thoughts...what say?

Before I start please really dont be rude I'm not looking for a shoulder to cry on just someone to hear me out...I been with my bf for about 1 yr and 6 months I moved to a whole different country for his guy and I truly love him with all my heart and soul...but this past weekend he left me and went back to him's mom's house...why because we would always fight about him going out...he always wants to go out by himself while I stay at home with no one to talk to nor hang out with...I really dont have friends here of my own all his friends are my friends...we fought about him going out by himself....he said he couldnt take it any more and just left...I do understand that he wants to go out and I really dont mind but why cant we go out together why cant I just hang out with him....all I want is to spend time with him becaus he works and goes to school all he wants to do is sleep when he comes home and I cant bas a relationship on sleep....all I can really say is I love him/ truely miss him

Do you think racism still exist?
Admitedly I think race is used as a cop out for all lot of things and when it is appropriate people are skeptical but do you really believe that all things are equal for people of color in America? I just read where a young lady said "Black people want to be superior" I do not believe that. Just look to the messages society send about latinos, blacks and asians for proof. How someone who is non white develops a superiority complex in that context is amazing. I think black people have poor leadership picked by the media like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson they are opportunist and this is maginified because of race and there loud opportunist come in all shades. Blacks do not pick battles well and choose to focus on nonsense instead of real issues some latino groups to more black. I think minorities are marginalized esp. latinos, blacks and asians. Native Americans are completely over looked (my opinion). WHY? DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE RACE IS NOT A FACTOR

The biggest question that atheists and agnostics seem to have is that God is supposed a God of love and mercy, yet He sent plagues and judgements, and still sends people to hell. I have an answer. Imagine that you have a statue garden, full of statues. Imagine, then, that you have bought beautiful statue. It is utterly clean and perfect. You then look at the statues around it, and see that they are dirty. Do you leave them as they are, knowing that they will take away from the perfect statue? No! You clean them up. Those that won't be cleaned must be taken away. That way you have a totally clean, perfect garden. God must remove anything that is imperfect from His presence. Since all humans are imperfect, we all deserve to die and go to Hell. But God gives a chance to be cleaned. Jesus is like a rag that took all our filth onto Himself, and took our punishment. Then God resurrected Him made him clean, and stopped sin forever, for all who would be cleaned. What do you think?
