Seriously. Think about it. God loves everyone, or at least that's what he said. I'm a bi Christian. Even though I do follow my religion, does that mean that God doesn't love me?

What's the difference between teaching someone to ride a bike, and implanting the knowledge in their brain...

...while giving them a false memory of having been taught? The effect is the same but only one requires actual teaching. Couldn't God have used this principle to avoid killing people just to make a point?

what the state of the planet would be without constant focus on the apocolypse? When you focus your thoughts on a certain outcome it is said that you your self manifest that into reality. Do you wonder if we all focused on healing the planet and helping our fellow man, and left behind the old myths that no longer serve us, that we could manifest a new birth instead of a death of our beautiful planet?

How do we change the world without ever fighting? With no aggression what so ever. Can this be done and how?

This means ending things like war and prostitution without any new laws or protests(protests are peaceful but for the purpose of this question they qualify as fighting). This means ending corruption in government without ever trying to upset the balance of power.

Good men being led astray by atheist men doing things that men shouldn't do, using wool and clothing to dress up in costumes and role play, all the while filming for a video camera and selling it to Thailand and parts of Eastern Europe!

If I study with a Jehovah's witness, Do I have to use the Watchtower bible or can I use my KJV?

Please give reason why I can't or can use my KJV version.

If I become a JW, will they disfellow me for using KJV bible in the meetings?

(a follow-up on my last Q)

When parents influence their child .... before the child is even old enough to have an opinion of their own?

Taking them to church, presenting the Bible, telling them "This is how it is!" "This IS what happened!!"

Its hard to take one seriously when they say that they began 'all of that' at such an early age. Their opinions just may be different if they had the chance to chose for themselves.

(I personally feel that children should be presented religion, then at an appropriate age, given the chance to chose for themselves what they believe)

Is it racist to tell somebody to "go home"?

..I don't hesitate in using it be it male or female - whenever I see dark-skinned immigrants (mostly illegals) it's like "go home" you "...."

Thank God I'm an atheist!?

I know the title is contradictory, but eye-catching, don't you think? I really am quite grateful that I am an atheist, and I thank higher education for the gift of it. When I was young, my very religious family discouraged higher education, telling me, "Universities are dens of atheism; they'll turn you atheist, for sure!"

And that is exactly what happened.

No, this wasn't part of some insidious plan to indoctrinate against religion, it simply was because at university I learned to think with reason and to not blindly accept the superstitions of others. I state emphatically that a person's level of education is directly related to a person's measure of religious faith. Those with little education cherish the validation religion provides. This is, at least, my opinion, and it's a good opinion.

I welcome others to chime in with their opinions, of course.

Since I'm certain the Christians won't appreciate my fine wording, I'll congratulate myself: Jack is one clever boy!

Having a girlfriend who wants to learn Italian?

I noticed that my girlfriend wants to learn Italian one day. So would it be smart to buy her something in italian like a dictionary, vocab book, or audio cd? or is too much?
or would it be stupid and weird? I figured that it would make her happy because at least I think of her.

Who changed the Lords holy Sabbath day and why?

I just asked a question on the true sabbath, and there were so many good answers I could not choose a best answer, I let it go to a vote. There are a lot of intelligent people in here.

I know the Catholic Church did not change the day, they just adopted the Sunday law, I am asking who made the law and when did it happen?
