If you could come up with a plan to feed everyone on this planet, what would you suggest? Getting a job is one way, but what about those who are unable to work?

This is one of the best questions that you have asked. People need to love more and stop being so selfish. Everything for some people is,"Mine, Mine, Mine." People already complain about 12cents a year going to welfare. If everyone would simply share with one another and look out for one another, then things would change.

The natural resources are not evenly distributed and they are finite, as we are finding out with oil. There is not enough agricultural land to feed everyone everywhere at the moment. And what we have is poorly managed, not necessarily growing food crops. The latest fashion is bio fuels (a lot of rainforest is coming down to meet the EU minimums). Also a lot of land, even in countries that have problems feeding their own population is used to grow food for export to the highest bidder.
You can have all the gold or oil in the world, but you cannot live on it.
One solution is to invest a lot more in education. This will help people get better jobs, control corruption and control population. It is not a quick fix. It would take near 20 years to show results.

It's very simple, really. That's what the government is for, to feed those who cannot feed themselves using the tax dollars of those who can.
Begging should be illegal and if the beggar truly does not have a place to eat or a place to live it should be provided for by the government. They should be taught how to get a job, keep a job, and if they still refuse they either go to a psych ward or jail.
Not enough room in jail? Easy...let all the stoners out that never hurt anyone and worked 40 hour shifts every week. Problem solved!
This works for countries that can sustain themselves. For those who can't, the countries who can put together a fund to help them survive...an EFFECTIVE UN if you will. If those countries don't feed their people with that money, we invade and install a neutral leader from the UN that will feed them. Everyone who gets in the way of this simple human right, the right to eat, goes to jail.
For world hunger to end, there will have to be world police, and a world government. The world does not want this to happen because they want to retain the right to screw over their fellow man.

How about birth control and education. People who can't feed themselves should not be bring more people into the world. Recently in the paper they wrote a story about a family who could not pay the bills. They had six kids. They didn't get poor in a day. They should have stopped having kids years ago. It's hard to feel bad for people when they do it to themselves. How many families do you think would be fine if they just had less mouths to feed. Think about it.

The people who are unable to work should be employed by a new company that houses/feeds and provides them with clothes.

We simply need to be more willing to help others and stop being so selfish. There IS enough food on the earth for everyone at present, it just isn't distributed evenly. If we worked together we could do this.

I would tell people to not be so greedy. And if all of us who have more than we need, give a little, everyone would be able to eat. But to make people recognise this it would be a task but not impossible if we all get together.x
