The accusation that masturbation is sinful has caused a great deal of anguish in many young people and even in those who are older. Masturbation is not sinful, it is normal, but becomes rather obsolete when one finds a mate and enjoys normal sexual relations.
Masturbation is simply a relief of stress and, especially in the young, there is a great deal of sexual tension as the body develops and sexual urges sometimes feel overpowering.
Masturbation is not sinful. It will not cause blindness or any other frightening condition, and the rumors that it is so wrong are founded in our stern Puritanical past, where bodily functions were shameful and wrong, and witches could cast spells on the unwary.

Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Jam 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jam 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
I can't imagine anyone being able to do this without lust being part of the equation.

The goal of the Christian life is to be pure in thought and deed. I believe that the issue of masturbation comes down to this. Therefore, I believe that though masturbation under certain circumstances may not be sinful, the desire to be sexual pure and holy should move the Christian to avoid it. Instead, he or she should seek to master the body and not give into its desires. The fight against masturbation can be a lesson in controlling the body which can have great spiritual benefits. Giving in to masturbation can have spiritual consequences and mastering the body can bring great spiritual benefit. Perhaps God did not mention masturbation the Bible because He is so aware of our sinful tendencies, our situations, our difficulties, etc., and desires that we seek holiness and purity by seeking to master our own flesh. If God had declared that it was not a sin, then we can rest assured that we would misuse the act and become enslaved by it.
If, however, you are bound by masturbation and war against it because it masters you, then you continually need to go to the cross and ask the Lord to forgive you. Also, pray and ask the Lord to provide you a spouse so that you would not fall into bondage of the flesh.

Self-control is a fruit of the spirit. Masturbation shows a lack of self-control. I cannot think of any scripture in the Bible that states masturbation is a sin.

the reason God shows us a pure way is because of the benefits of doing what He made for us, a whole healthy happy life with whole healthy happy relationships
Narcissism is a consequence of self indulgence and causes a person not to really enjoy a "normal" relationship with a wife

I'm a sexuality and HIV-AIDS counsellor in india. Masturbation, or 'self-stimulation for sexual satisfaction' is healthy, non-risky, it will not give you any disease, and you'll never contract HIV.
Yoiu shouldn't feel guilty about it.
That's the scientific approach.
