What seems more interesting is the fact that every time the eyes make contact with someone that is completely unknown to us- Something always arises in the mind. A judgement is made without any basis. Maybe the more relevent question is "Where did the "evil" arise?

Yes. I do think he looks quite evil. I mean after all, he was in Hitler's Youth thingy. Just because he is elected by a college of old dudes, it doesn't mean that he is the most amazingly perfect guy. He's human, not God and people should remember that. Actually... the other day, I was in a Catholic church, and I saw a picture of him on the wall, so I whispered, "seig heil" to my mum.

i thought it ironic when he was inaugurated he looked like all those pictures of the devil...
horrible thing to think really
i dont think he is evil as i dont belive in evil
he just believes what he believes..
he was also quite radical
but i think he has calmed down now abit
recent pictures i have seen him he looks quite soft and cuddly.
reminded me of the other lovely pope previous to him

Well one shouldn't make those sorts of observations, but I know what you mean.
It comes as no surprise that before becoming Pope he was the Grand Inquisitor of the Catholic Church, an office that is not renowned for gentleness, Torquemada being one example.

I think so but since I look to the photo then I realised that he is a good person. That smile isn't bad, for sure.
