they are always asking where they can get free ones. don't they want to contribute to the christian economy by purchasing these things?

oh, never mind, maybe it's better if they don't buy them then.

I don't mind paying for a Bible. I do mind supporting a company that I feel does not have the Christian interest in mind when selling these Bibles. Would you buy a Bible from a company that also prints the Satanic Bible? You are supporting that company and funding every product they sell.

The Bible should not be copyrighted. The author is God, through 40 men who were inspired by God. So who holds the copyright? Too much has to be "changed" to receive a copyright. Are we compromising integrity when we change enough words to receive a copyright?

Some Bibles are copyrighted for their additional sections such as commentaries, dictionaries, etc but the word of God ,the scriptures, are not copyrighted. Be sure to check out the publishers and make sure you know what type of company you are supporting.

Maam the Bible is and will always be the best selling book of all time. Billions upon billions sold. Translated in the most languages yes even more than the Quran. Tell you what I only look at Christian as a title. You go to church next week. You ask the congregation if they bought that Bible with them or got it free. Youll see how many "Christians" got them free. They could be people acting as Christians to destroy them I dont really know. Definetly not a person who has a relationship with Christ. Peace out...

LOL the thought of Christians not wanting to pay for Bibles LOL I would like to know where you got that from. There is a thing called a Bible book store all the bible are new and we pay for them. LOL and there is a lot of Christians that go to them. As far as used bibles I would pay for a used one also.

Most Christians already OWN a Bible, or several of them...perhaps you are mistaken if you think it is Christians looking for them for free.
Maybe it would be best if you learned to ask a question instead of ranting.

Christians buying Bibles contributes as much to your economy as to theirs. I don't understand your dilemma.

I personally have purchased every bible I have ever owned.
I do not have any issue with paying for one, but perhaps the ones who are asking if they can find one for free can not afford to purchase one, but they would like one.

Christians should buy their own Bible, those that are given away for free should be those that have true financial needs.

Christians don't always ask where they can get free ones. Right, everytime I walk out of my house I get bombarded by 3-4 Christians demanding free Bibles. What are you even trying to get at?

The ones that are asking might not be able to afford a bible. A person should not be deprived from faith or Gods word because they have no funds.
