This question is asked way to much. Ive read he did and he didnt. Why is this relevant to anything. People die everyday we dont ask about them. Those are the ones we should be reaching out to each and everyday. Every day 150,000 people die. How many didnt invite Jesus into their heart. Its sad. Peace out................

Darwin was agnostic and little evidence suggested he had changed that stance even on his deathbed.
What you are referring to is the story by Lady Hope in which she stated that Darwin was reading the bible and wanted songs to be sung. She also went on the state that Darwin regretted his work and wished people hadn't taken it so seriously.

Problem is there is no evidence to support she was there when he was on his deathbed. She was a neighbor yes but that was it. His children (who were at his deathbed) denied everything Lady Hope had claimed.

Darwin really had no problem with Christianity and even made reference as to its good for some people, yet not him.

No that was a made up claim by a person named Lady Hope who was never with Darwin on his death bed. Darwin's Family stated Lady Hope had never visited Darwin. She was simply a crackpot seeking publicity.

Galileo did recant his belief that the earth revolved around the sun however. Of course if he hadn't the Church would have executed him for making blasphemous statements in direct contradiction to biblical teaching..

No
Don't mix him up with Galileo.
Galileo recanted in front of the Church.
Then recanted on his recanting later.
anyway, the earth STILL revolves around te sun
despite Pope Benedict XVI wanting to get Latin Mass out of the broom closet.

No, another Liar for Christ called Lady Hope made up the story. It was called a lie by Darwin's family who were present at the time of his death, who all affirmed that Lady Hope never visited the house nor did their father recant his theory.

Darwin was a Christian his entire life.
Natural science, which grew into Biology, was a part of theology at the time he studied it.

For over 400 years, Christians believed that the clues to the way their god made the earth were visible and there for mankind to see.

The "debate" between Christians and evolution is a fiction manufactured by some revisionist antisecularist nutjobs.

No. It is common knowledge that he did not recant. But the silly creationists keep trying to keep the lie alive.

Pfft.

That's just wishful thinking on the part of the creationists.

If I had to lie that much to defend my beliefs, I'd certainly be aware that there was something seriously wrong with them.

Tis a myth but a good one when trying to convince someone to be a creationist.
