does anybody know if the children of jehovas witness families are allowed to socialise with kids who are not jehovas witnesses ?we have a family next door with 4 really nice kids, but whenever any of the kids on the block ask them to join in the fun, they just won't. don't like to ask the parents if its just what they do. my sister thinks that they are not allowed to mix outside of the faith...anyone know thanks

You have a father, and you are ignoring him for pleasures of the world!

In the old days, this is when a spanking would come into play. It's sick the way you have turned away from YOUR lord! Let me tell you, it is not usually fun to get spanked! Wearing goggles and having a nightline shine off an on next to your spanking, while people in Northern Russia watch on the internet. It's sick and I'm tired of it!

Jesus said that only those with the hearts and mind of children would understand God. You have to act like grown ups you people! Get it together, settle down and read the word tonight!

I'm very charasmastic and I bet a lot of you are taking notes. I've had a lot of experiences in my life, but they really just aren't your business. Your marriage does directly affect me though, so that's why I need you to tell me more about it.

We are all gods kids! Let him hold you in his arms and stare into his brown eyes!

ive seen it both on the uk site and the usa site,
That british women'are being targeted by muslim lads ie:rape ;etc.
It's just recently that five muslim gentalmen came to my aid.
they basicly saved my life.
But with all the bad press,"I was scared", I was alone and there was five of them,
my car reard of the road and went down a bank and landed on it's roof.
id broke my arm and was in so much pain.
they realised how scared i was and they were so gental and kind and said nice things,
what made me come to my sences was that one of the older gentalmen placed my crucifix in my hand,It was always on my dashboard.
"There was something wrong" and they said they would have to move me.
ten min's later the car exploaded.
I was so ashamed of my behaviour.that i started crying,
and the thing is police turned up. As did ambulance and I was moved to a hospital, I never said thankyou.
THERE'S GOOD AND BAD EVERY WERE, WHY CAN'T WE JUST LIVE AND LET LIVE A LITTLE.

Do you believe there was an advanced civilisation before us destroyed by a tsunami?

I often post questions that challenge Christians analyze themselves, their beliefs, and their religion as a whole. Instead of taking the challenge, most Christians prefer to tell me what I should do according to their beliefs, make assumptions about my beliefs, criticize the wording of my question, and do anything but what the question asks.

This is one of the biggest reasons why so many people (usually noted as atheists) express such frustration toward Christians and Christianity as a whole. Christians openly display an attitude of "I refuse to think about what you said but am willing to give my opinion on what YOU should do." That type of approach is disrespectful, unwanted, offensive, and generally frowned upon.

Wouldn't it be easier to simply say, "Sorry, but I refuse to think."?

Consider the fact that most debates have a pro and con side, but the debates for and against religion are emotional vs logical. Does that not say something right there???

I obviously opened a can of worms, my point was that is if he thinks he can receive absolution through the church he`s got it wrong.
I have known dozens of Catholics who are under the misunderstanding that they can do the most dreadful things, go to church and ten Hail Marys later the slate is clean.
The biggest laugh is if he`s made a Deacon after the heinous crimes he has committed, says a lot about the Catholic church.

Have you listened to the ending? Like 30 times, as I have in the past 5 minutes? I've been doing this for years, mind you. If there is a heaven then Brian, Carl & Bruce are certainly singing the harmonies there.

And one more thing: David Crosby's voice on "Mr. Tambourine Man" is absolutely gorgeous. I love that man. Just thought I'd throw that in. ;-)

Happy Travels!

I am pretty passive agressive. I don't like this abt myself & am trying to change it.
I do come across those people that argue w/me abt stuff like religion, politics but I can't seem to defend myself.

How can I become a stronger person or am I doomed to a life of being beaten up?

Let's say Jesus was volunteering late and night and someone from the shelter kept flirting and making him feel uncomfortable. Would He stay there and try to still help that person or would he leave?

Look at the following quote from biblical scholars James Bowley and John Reeves: "That is so even though ‘the
Bible’ does not exist, if by that we mean a canonically and textually defined entity held in common by all
interpreters throughout the ages. There are only Bibles, and they all include texts which exhibit a great deal
of diversity in their family history."

The "Bible" as we know it is not the only Bible that has ever existed. There are many ancient sacred writings that have been accepted as legitimate that are not in our Bible.
How do we know we have the right collection of writings now?
