i've been invited to the christening of a friend's child, and am trying to think of an anti-religious gift i could get away with giving to him. my theory is that if it's ok to force religion down a child's throat, it's only fair to give it both sides of the argument. anyway, so far i can only think of children's evolution books, and would be interested to hear any suggestions?

I am a grown up gay guy who is happy with his life, why do i get so angry and wound up be people like Bradxchuman when they post derogitary questions, can cope with Dr Dorris and princess lulu, but some people i would love to smack them in the face?

I need some help solving a debate. We(me and my friends) need to know what the hardest language in the world is. It has to be learnt from a foreign tounge(like you can't say english is easy as you started at the age of one if your native tounge is english). Any refrences, studies, websites, books etc are welcomed and encouraged.

My soon to be mother-in-law hates me because I am white, and her daughter is black. She has told my fiance that she doesn't want me around and the her last boyfriend, who was black but he treated her horribly and cheated on her constantly, is better than I could ever be. I have been successful as a teacher and writer, and am now even teaching college, and I have been honest about who i am and given her nothing but respect, but she has made it clear that because I am white, I am, to quote her, "a piece of ****". She has said that she wants nothing to do with me, and if my fiance marries me, wants nothing to do with her, or any children we may have. What can I do?

i was wondering what the Real difference was between Jehovah's Witnesses and ...lets say .....Southern Baptists was? what distinguishes the two? and why is there such a stigma related to Jehovah's Witnesses?? serious answers only please. i dont feel that religion is anything to joke about, so if you wanna joke.....please joke somewhere else.

I have this friend that was at a festival this w/e. She sat her purse down on the bench for a second, looked the other way and it was gone. Brand new "pricey" purse btw.
Anyway she had all her identity in it. She has no checking account so she is out of any money for the next week.
Oh course she called the police. But when she went to the Social Security office they couldn't help b/c she had no ID.
Oh course the license branch is the same way.
Also she cannot get a copy of her birth certificate, Her cell phone is missing and was her primary phone.
Just basically a mess for her.
Anyone had to deal with such a thing before?
Please don't answer back what she should of done.
It doesn't matter now. She just needs to get her identity back.

of the african american male. I go tothe news stand and see GQ,Esquire, Men's Health. but when i look for something I can identify with,all i get is Black Man and KING. There is more to my life thanjust a half naked sister on the front cover. Ebony is positive,no doubt, but what about black fashion,wall street movers and shakers in Armani suits,fatherhood,fashion,spirituality,etc. Wher can I find that kind of periodical?

On my way home from my job I have to cut threw the richest neighborhood in my city. I notice all of the immigrant yard workers and maids working at these huge homes. Could this be George Bush and his rich friends reason for fighting so hard to have some illegal immigrants stay in the USA? Does he really care about these people? Is he only seeing very cheap labor for him and his rich friends? What do you believe is going on? I have never had a problem with the illegal immigrants. We all would do the same thing in there position. It's funny how people like Bill O'reilly spins the blame on to the immigrants instead of the greedy people who use these people and don't pay them hardly anything in return for there service. O'reilly probably has cheap illegal foreign labor at his big compound.
