I read this book a while back that said "Christians aren't really Christians. They just pretend to be so they seem to be 'good' and have a bit of 'protection from the Anti-Christ'."
What do you think of this?

Paul was supposedly born and raised in the city of Tarsus, a region in SE Asia-Minor (now called Turkey) where Mithras was well known. Biblical scholars are now saying that Paul, the alleged author of 13 out of the 27 (maybe more) books of the New Testament, may have been influenced in his writings by this strong religion of Mithraism. We can see a profound kinship between Mithraism and Christianity.

In-as-much as Mithraism was so popular in Rome, it is no wonder why the pagan Emperor Constantine, who believed in the sun god, Mithras, designated a certain day of the week to him, Sunday, which means, “the day of the sun.”

The original "Christian" faith became a mix of pagan, Mithramic, Jeudeo/Christian teaching. This lead to the confusing mix of theology that we have today within the "Christian" community. This apostacy from the original simple and plain teachings of Christ was accelerated by the persecutions and killings of any who tried to support the "old" ways.

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Paris Hilton says she will no longer "act dumb."

The reality TV star and relentless publicity-seeker spoke with Barbara Walters by phone Sunday, a day after releasing a statement saying she hoped the media would focus on "more important things" than her 45-day jail sentence, according to ABC News' Web site.

"I used to act dumb. ... That act is no longer cute," ABC quoted Hilton as saying. (Blog: Is Paris receiving justice?

After spending three days in jail in a reckless driving case, Hilton was briefly released to home confinement Thursday for an undisclosed medical condition. An outraged judge sent her back to jail Friday. She is now housed in the medical ward of a maximum-security detention center. (Watch Hilton go to jail Video)

According to ABC News, the call came after Hilton's mother, Kathy, phoned Walters. During the conversation, the 26-year-old socialite called her mom on another line, found out her mother was talking to Walters,

We know scum like this are in the country and teaching their hate and jihad. If this guy was in the US saying crap like this publically should he be deported? Given an award by the ACLU for excellence in free speech? Given an honory degree and NYU for cultural diversity?
Last September, Al Hilali sparked outrage in Australia when he blamed scantily clad women for tempting men to rape them, saying, "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside and the cats come to eat it, whose fault is it?"

Went to Walmart the other day, a man was minding his business, walking in the parking lot, wearing Yankees sports gear - hat, t-shirt.

A punk plump teenage girl viciously said to him, "Yankees suc", he replied without missing a beat, "F@T people suc"!

They went onto to exchange a few more foul words with him ending it with, "Keep it up and I will drill you into the ground"!

Is this what society has become in this day and age?

Is that man justified to retaliate as he did?

I saw a bumpersticker of this on a van the other day packed full of children at K-mart a couple days ago. I really don't have the words to convey what I thought of this other then, I thought it wrong and insighted hate or ignorance. I assume they teach this to their children. Not really a question I guess. I want to hear anyones comments or thoughts on it.. ---FYI, I am not Muslim.

I work at a bank and have been helping a memeber for the last 3 weeks or so with his transactions. He always waits for me to help him and he is a nice acctrative man. The gift was a large food platter he had delivered. I'm not sure what to put in the note since I will be having everyone sign the card but I want it to be personal.
