I saw a bumpersticker of this on a van the other day packed full of children at K-mart a couple days ago. I really don't have the words to convey what I thought of this other then, I thought it wrong and insighted hate or ignorance. I assume they teach this to their children. Not really a question I guess. I want to hear anyones comments or thoughts on it.. ---FYI, I am not Muslim.

I find it amusing that it pretty much reflects the same kind of intolerance that they supposedly hate the Muslims for.

Not to mention it implies some ignorance about Islam, as Muhammed being dead or not resurrected has nothing to do with the religion. They don't deify their prophet like Christians do.

I am a muslim and I can tell you this. Yes Jesus is alive and Muhammad is dead but Jesus will die like everyone else. His time is not over and he will come again and he will rule by the Quran. after his second coming he will die.
As god says

(16) Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).
( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #185)
There will be a time when even the angels will die. I beleive it will be when the angel blows the trumpet.

That is seriously funny BECAUSE as the Muslims here have pointed out it is true to our belief and truly shows the ignorance of those who hate (if it was meant as an attack on Islam).

Jesus (PBUH) is still alive and 33 years old. He will return soon in the same condition as when he left to raise one generation under Islam and without the overwhelming Satanic influence that is present now. On the Last Day Satan will be allowed to tempt/convert to his religion the generation that was raised under Islam and the guidance of Jesus (PBUH). I doubt he will have much success on that day.

Actually that is correct...Jesus or Isa to muslims (as) was raised to heaven and Not crucified. He will return as a living man, and slay the pig and topple the cross. He will be a witness against Jews and Christians. Jews for not recognizing him as a prophet and christians for taking him as a god. He will then die as all men must. Muhammad(saws) dies already as all men must, he will interced, GOD willing on behalf of muslims on the day of judgement. Now having said that, I think the bumper sticker was probably intended in a negative way, but ironically it is indeed correct. GOD knows best. Peace

We admit he is dead because he is. The Prophet's companion Abu Bakr said it perfectly when the Prophet (Peace be upon him) died:

"Whoever worships Muhammad let him know that Muhammad is dead, and whoever worships God let him know that God is alive and never dies."

He then recited the verse in the Qur'an:
"Muhammad is nothing more than a Messenger. Messengers came and went before him. If he dies or is killed shall you turn on your heels?"

Muslims dont beleive Muhammad (Peace be upon him)was divine nor do we worship him. Like it says above, he is but a messenger. Christians believe Jesus (Peace be upon him) is alive because they worship him as part of the trinity. If Jesus died the whole basis of Christianity as it is today would fall.

Muslims believe Jesus (Peace be upon him) was descended into heaven before he was crucified (his soul, not his physical shape). We believe he will return to fight against the anti-christ. We do not worship him because his soul has not died. We just await his return. Just like Muhammad, Jesus was also but a messenger (Peace be upon them).

Thank you for your concern, sir. The bumper sticker was probably designed to stir up some trouble, but it is true. Abu Bakr became the 1st Caliph after Muhammad (SAW) died.

Jesus/Isa (PBUH) will return to earth and then die, as Muslims believe he was raised up to Allah (SWT) and did not die, yet.

Not much to it... Prophet Jesus (pbuh) is alive and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has died physically... but according to the Quran he is still alive... for those who die in the line of Islam (martyrs) are still alive... the Prophet (pbuh) gave his entire life to Islam... so he died in the line of Islam...

And wait... Saddam is NOT a martyr... neither are suicide bombers n stuff...
But those who die when they are living life as good Muslims... minding their own business... and suddenly... kaboom... a bomb hits their back yard (e.g. Iran Iraq war... when Iraq started the war...)... and those (Iranians) who go to this war (Iran Iraq war) to defend their land and religion...
This war was just an example... there are tons more...

At least TRY to come up with a question, for pete's sake. This is, afterall, a question and answer forum. Otherwise, you are in violation of the rules and can be reported. Maybe you need to start a blog instead.

That said, I admit I agree that the bumpersticker in question is pretty sick. What a shame.

Was it next to the one that says "Bomb their a$$ and take their gas"?

Yeah, what can you say. I'm no Muslim apologist either. But for many of the ignorant lower classes in both traditions - Islam and Christianity - it's the cardinal point of religion that they set themselves apart as "special" and demonize the "other."

It's true. Even Muslims admit Muhammad is dead. That's like being offended cos someone says the sky is blue and grass is green.
