What do I put in a thank you card for a gift a customer gave me?

I work at a bank and have been helping a memeber for the last 3 weeks or so with his transactions. He always waits for me to help him and he is a nice acctrative man. The gift was a large food platter he had delivered. I'm not sure what to put in the note since I will be having everyone sign the card but I want it to be personal.

put your note away from all the signitures, maybe on the left flap.

You could have a card that everyone signs, but then tuck a note that you have written ( "I especially wanted to thank you.. etc. ") in the card before it is sent. That way it will show that everyone was thankful for the gift, but you especially were happy to help him out.

I would say " thank you, we all enjoyed the platter." You were doing your job, and it would inappropriate for him to give or you to recieve a personal gift.
