It depends on what you believe. Nothing is set in stone as much as some may tell it as or may like it to be. Sure, God can be in control of your life if that's what you want. God is in charge of big things though, so you can't just give up on tests and grades and girlfriends/boyfriends just because you want God to take care of that. You control your life, because God has already planned the milestones out. He might plan that you will be a doctor, but that doesn't mean that you will ace all of your tests that have something to do with medical stuff. Do you understand?

You always have a choice (although it may not be a particularly pleasant one), so you are in control. However, you can give that control to one of two sides, God, or the devil. If God is in control, then that's great. If not, then I'm sorry. But if you're like most people then you're probably on the fence, in that in some areas God is in control, but in others He's not. I don't know you or your own personal trials you're going through so I can't say who's in control. All I can say is that most likely you have given at least part of your control over to at least one of the two - either God or the devil and probably both.

I think you have to assume that you are. You know that old saying, "cogito ergo sum" (urgh, latin) - i think, therefore i am?
if you don't go by that, then it just adds so many wrong dimensions to life - like, well it doesn't matter what i do, God is in control of my life.
But, if you believe in God, then you might think he knows what you are going to do in your life. That doesn't mean you aren't free to make a decision - because you can make it either way - it just means He knows what you are going to do anyway.
But that is a very different thing to controlling it.

YOU. No one else can control YOU. You are yourself. God, (if there IS one), simply CANNOT control you. It would be like me controlling some guy who lives in Africa! Why, oh why, do people think that God controls everything???? It so stupid! We control ourselves!!! Nothing to it!

God gave you the choice to make your own decisions.... so its your decision whether you want God to be in control of your life or not. Just remember God loves us so much he sent Jesus to died for our sins. ~God Bless~

God just helps you make the decisions. He tries to lead you into the right bath but sometimes some one just decide to ignore those signs and goes down the wrong bath.

God, but you have a freewill to choose what you want in your life, but if you are open to it God will be there to help you through this life.
