GOD!
John 1:1, Revelation 1:8, John chapter 10.....
God became flesh, as Jesus Christ to die on the cross- then He defeated death- who can only defeat death? GOD! Only God can save us from our sins, through Jesus Christ...for God is all Spirit- but became a man- to suffer and die, then He rose again- so we who believe could gain life- defeat death through HIM!
Praise The LORD! Amen!

Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
As God has always been and Jesus is the firstborn, they are not one and the same. Jesus was the first creation by God. His only begotten son. Therefore they are not the same entity. Jesus had a beginning, God has always been.

I'm going to explain this very simply, i'm not going to write a long passage, but present a question that will explain it all....
In Psalms 90:2 it reads: "Before the mountains themselves were born, Or you proceeded to bring forth as with labor pains the earth and the productive land, Even from time indefinite to time indefinite you are God."
God has always been right?
In 1 Corinthians 15:3-7 it reads: "For I handed on to you, among the first thing, that which I also recieved, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, yes, that he has been raised up the third day according to the the Scriptures; and that he appeared to Ce'phas (Peter), then to the twelve. After that he appeared to upward of five hundred brothers at one time, the most of whom remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep in death. After that he appeared to James, then to all the apostles."
So Jesus died, and then was resurrected and then raised to heaven, to which there were five hundred eye witnesses to that fact....
So my question is Can God the Almighty die?
Habakkuk 1:12 it reads: "Are you not from long ago, O Yahweh? O my God, my Holy One, you do not die."
But Jesus died..........

Well, according to Christianity he is both.
According to the bible, even though the word "trinity" is never actually said, the bible's teachings elude to God being three persons.
Jesus is one of those persons came down
as God in the flesh, God incarnate.
So God and Son of God is one and the same with the Father and Spirit.

Both. Keep in mind that God is outside time and space. He created the world, therefore he can thwart the fabric of space, time, and physical properties that our feeble minds can't comprehend. God as the father, master, creator. God as the Son, the word, the sacrifice. God as the holy spirit, guiding believers.
