it is a happy fear of Jehovah. we don't want to hurt Jehovah in anyway. we want to do what Jehovah asks of us. just like we want our children to listen to us, Jehovah wants us to listen to him. Jehovah knows best.

If I think I might be doing a sin , I ask myself what would Jehovah think if I did this or that? would Jehovah approve, after all,His angels are all around us watching us,when we sin, they tell jehovah, and Jesus said do not fear any one thing that can kill the soul, fear the one that can kill both soul and spirit. So with that in mind, fearing Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom my friend, I dont fear Him because he is scary, I fear Him because He might be disapointed in me and I would miss out on my reward.what is my reward?

Fear of God is a feeling Christians should have toward their Maker. One definition of this fear is “an awe and a profound reverence for the Creator and a wholesome dread of displeasing him.” Thus, fear of God influences two important aspects of our lives: our attitude toward God and our attitude toward conduct that he hates.

Godly fear is never morbid or unduly restrictive. “Happy is everyone fearing Jehovah, who is walking in his ways,” the Bible assures us. (Psalm 128:1) Jehovah encourages us to fear him because he knows that this quality will protect us. We note his loving concern in his words to Moses: “If only they [the Israelites] would develop this heart of theirs to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, in order that it might go well with them and their sons to time indefinite!” Deuteronomy 5:29.

Fear has a two fold meaning. The first is literally "fear" be afraid of - God is powerful and righteous, Beings who are neither should fear the One who is.
The other meaning is respect, to stand in awe of, to revere as superior.
I think God means for us to do both. He commands it and, as this verse says it is to our benefit.

By the way, we do not live in fear of Him because we are His children- he loves us. Do you live in fear of your father? If he loves you and wants the best for you then you don't. It is the same with God.

this is where the language changes and desires of men come into play. The original aramaic directly translated, doesn't mean "fear", it denotes RESPECT. Constantine's publishers changed the word to fear.

We must love G-d, as it says "And you shall love Ha-Shem your G-d"8; and we must also stand in awe of him, as it says "You shall fear Ha-Shem your G-d".9 If a man considers G-d's great and wonderful works and realizes His boundless wisdom he will yearn to know more about His greatness, as it says "My soul thirsts for G-d".10 But when he thinks about these things he will also realize his own lowliness, as it says "What is man, that You remember him?"11
