He was sinless, he raised from the dead, he is the only way, was born of a virgin, saves by grace not works, Jesus is sufficient for all our needs, his love is endless, his love know no bounds, he forgave us, he dies for us, his love has no conditions, he has power over death, he is eternal, he was, is and always will be. He is my God!

Jesus himself was unique as opposed to other deities and the like, because he actually existed, and is no myth but a historical figure.
However, there have been many more people proclaiming to be the Son of God or the Messiah, and only Jesus is still known for this. I guess this is just, well, luck?
I think he was just another man, with some wild ideas. Also, I believe he didn't die on the cross. He is the only one who pulled off what he has done, succesfully.

I think there was alot, he was the first other than Zorastra to speak about a celestial exsistance, within the region and really he was the first to bring about an egalitarian society, teach of fair and just treatment for everyone and disembarking on the political hierarchy as well as the economical hierarchy of Rome. It is just unfortunate that much of that message got replaced with hate gays, liberals, and everyone else who is not like minded.

He had a good PR campaign?
He is more like an expressionist artist then a messiah: He did not really become famous until after he was dead, and everyone is still trying to interpret the meaning of what he did.

I've gotten the idea that Jesus is portrayed as more human that other similar deities and quasi-deities. The crucifixion by the cross element is unique, as far as I know (which may not be very far).

omg!that is a dumb question. how about the fact that he was born from a virgin? he died, and then came back? he is the son of God and God?
I just thought that needed to be repeated, because it made me LOL....
When they go over major world religions in school, I think perhaps we need to study ancient religions along with them... because apparently lots of people don't quite get it.
*cough* Mithra. Horus. Attis. Dionysos. Krishna. Apollonius of Tyana. etc, etc, etc. *cough*
Oh, and Criss Angel. My bad.

He has always been and will always be, just like His Father. He humbled himself and became a man to save us from our sin. He conquered death and the power of the devil, meaning that we can now be separated from our sin through His sacrifice. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and anyone who believes in Him will never die (i.e. their soul will never die, they will be able to join God in His holiness in heaven, and their body will be resurrected and made perfect when Christ returns to Earth).
Any serious questions, feel free to e-mail me.

He is God's only-begotten Son. "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." John 3:16
