No, when someone is rude and pushy with me, I get rude and pushy right back.
I learned a long time ago that there are people who enjoy walking all over other people and if you let them they do it all the more but when you stand up to them they back down and won't do it to you because you stand up to them.

For the most part, I can.
Although there are times some peoples rudeness has gotten on my last nerve.
I always try to be considerate and I was raised to have respect, but here has been a few times I've said to some, "excuse me isn't that hard to say." Usually I try to make light of situations. I've had cashiers that have been so rude and I'll just say, I"m sorry to see you're having such a bad day, I'm sure it will get better :)
It's unfortunate, but some people think they have earned the right to be rude.

Not anymore. I used to be able to put up with a lot of it but my patience has eroded over the years. Now if someone is rude to me for no good reason, they'll get it right back plus some more.

99% of the time I can remain composed. The other 1%, I explode like a nuclear bomb. A total meltdown.

It all depends who is being rude.If somebody whose opinion does'nt even matter to me is being rude then i just ignore. But if somebody who really matters is being rude i'd first like to know the reason and if i am able to clarify then its ok other wise if it becomes a routine then may be i'd lose composure.

It seems to be, the bigger the city, the more rude and selfish people are. So, you just have to become one of them if you want to live there. That's why I'm trying to move out into the woods.

oh thats easy just tune out, nod, smile, repeat. I actually treasure those moments alone with my thoughts.
and there is a bonus. nothing is as infuriating to the person being rude as a happy smiling boy who couldent care less!

Except in the car, and occasionally online, yes.
I try to keep good humor, because it's really the only thing that keeps me from being a total b*tch. (Sometimes I'm more successful at this than others.)

Most of the time yes. There haven't been any times yet that I didn't but I don't want to count out the possibility that one may upset me.

I have a breaking point. Depends on how I feel as well. If I'm in a good mood, the breaking point is further away, bad mood = closer.
