Okay so if your an Atheist, you obviosly don't believe in God. And if your a Christian then well..you do duh! But what if everything Christians, mormons, muslims, believe in is just a lie, or vise versa.
Some more thoughts, I visited godisimaginary.com and christianity.com. Godisimaginary had really fascinating proof and was very convincing. It talked about praying being a superstition, and Jesus being fiction, and God being cruel, and the pope not reading the bible and on and on. I would like to hear your thoughts....and yes I do a lot of research for my age.

Like say me as a believer was to tell someone off in a very angry style what would that do for other believers? How much responsiblity do I gain by making the choice to post here? Does that responsilibty grow if I am graceful in my answers along with the power I have as a poster?

What triggered you to become one? Carl Sagan did it to me through his PBS series "Cosmos". What an eye-opener special that was. =)

As God is man can become and as man is God once was?

Also where does it talk about polygamy?

This goes to anyone who belongs to a faith with a questionable background. If your faith/religion is worth anything, it should be able to withstand it's history, and everybody knowing about, not hiding from it.

Brigham Young said, “The only men who become Gods, even the Sons of God, are those who enter into polygamy”. (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 11, page 269) Why did the Mormons yield to the pressure of the government and stop practicing polygamy?
Don't you want to become Gods?

...I really want honest answers to this question, and answers from more than Christians and other people of faith.
...Many people seem very afraid of evangelicals and other people of faith expressing their faith by exercising their Constituional rights - i.e., getting involved in politics, public office, voting, influencing public policy, etc. Some of these folks would go so far as to try and deny them their rights.
...What threat do people of faith pose to non-people of faith? What are atheists and non-people of faith afraid of - what do they have to fear from people of faith being good citizens and enjoying their rights like other citizens?

I honestly dont lead others in prayer unless asked by that person and I really feel like I'll do my best of it at that time. What are your thoughts on leading prayer and being lead in it?

So many people are worried about Mitt Romney being dare I say a Mormon. They bring up the fact that over 100 years ago some Mormons practiced polygamy. Why should people even care about Brigham Young's wives? At least he wasn't gay.

Why would a mortal human have the same thoughts after it is dead and is not a mortal anymore. I some times feel I am atheist because I can not stand the monachy system. I will not honor any god that can't come up with a better system than a monachy. It is the worst system ever created by man. So if man created the system then man created the god. There is no use for anything to be on a higher scale than another in a heaven. Personaly I like the word "Utopia" better anyway. With gods track record of heavens [gods sons rebel] why should I think any heaven god makes is any good? Heaven to me sounds like a place [or no place] where angels have wings that don't work because there is no air and have noplace to go with them anyway. Of course I am useing a human mind to pichure heaven but isn't it a human mind that told me about the biblical heaven? Even the human mind that talks about the new Jerusilum that says it has only so many feet for all the space there will be.

I just read an answer about early Christianity and the existence/nonexistence of Jesus. One person (s/he will remain anonymous) answered:

"Can anyone explain that why would the Romans heavily persecute so called Christians at that time? History did record that persecutions of Christians

Those Christian would not die for something that's not true."

I've seen this line of thinking on several different occasions. A Christian does not believe in Muslim faith, yet they see Muslims die for their beliefs today. Christians see people die for something that isn't true in their eyes, yet it's impossible that a Christian wouldn't die for something that's not true. How does that make any sense at all?
