Deuteronomy 13:

IF SO, PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THE TALIBAN DOES? IF NOT, HOW CAN YOU PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT IS VALID FROM THE BIBLE IF THE ENTIRE WORK IS THE WORD OF GOD?

Basically, I went on a date with a lady friend who is a Christian. She lives about an hour and halfs drive away from me so even though we have been in touch for 3 months I've only met her once.

It went well, but to cut a long story short, she basically said that she likes me but she just wants to be friends because she's not convinced that God wants us together. Obviously, I disagree, I don't think God is going to send an angel to her to tell who her soul mate is.

Well, now she says its going to be a long time before we are back to where we used to be. I think I've upset her in some way, not sure how, but what can I say or do?

Why do you think she's upset because I've come clean with my feelings for her, or because I said that she would be waiting a long time before God tells her who to be with?

Im not looking for an argument just a simple explanation, when you follow quotes such as the one below. im curious. why would you want to kill non-believers of your religion. Surely every individual has the option to choose for themselves?

A product worthy of the halfwits who run the European Union! But No - our own home grown cretins want to turn the clock back so that wolves can control the Deer population! So will they be shot if they find other animals more tasty - and easier to catch? They certainly will if they attack sheep, "but farmers could be compensated" they claim! And what does the RSPCA have to say about all the pain and suffering caused - particularly when, like foxes, they seek easier pickings around towns and villages? Inevitably a child will be attacked/killed - so will the peabrained promoters of this daft scheme be held responsible? Or will there simply be a massive cull of these beautiful animals?

I've just read a question about someone grassing on someone else, it really annoyed me,

I've only lived in my house a few months and i'm decorating,
I have my own private car port out the back which is out of the way of others and not in the way, I had a few old plants and my daughters old pushchair and a few bits,
I was intending to get a skip and clear it in a few weeks.
Yet someone goes to the council and says i'm putting my rubbish in there, I got an official letter.
Whats the matter with some people ???
What do they gain from it ?????

before I met him, I was confused about my sexuality. I'd had experiences both with women and other men, even threesomes with another woman and a man. Being with women make me horny as hell and I love touching another woman, the softness and sensuality of another woman's body. Okay i understand that emo is short for emotional and whatever but i've been emo for a long time and although i have cried, non of my emo guy friends have cried openly in front of me. I think people have it all backwards. Not all emo guys are weaklings like alot of people think either. My emo friends and I love to go jogging and exercise, and one of my friends is all skinny and whatever but he can bench 190! Maybe that's weak for a guy..idk... but what i really think is that Emo is a wonderfull style and everyone should try it out! like me for instance...I'm Emo/Scene and it works for me!!

I'm 14 and my family feels strongly about being christians and they're very religious I guess you could say.... I'm agnostic/atheist and there's no way in heck I would tell them... They act like if your not a christian your scum or something. I'm getting so sick of my mother saying don't do that its not christian-like when it's not even my religion! I'm forced to go to church also. I don't know what to do. I'm sick of having to follow rules of a religion im not a part of. Any suggestions? I'm just really frustrated. I was hoping someone could understand where I'm coming from.
