I've just read a question about someone grassing on someone else, it really annoyed me,
I've only lived in my house a few months and i'm decorating,
I have my own private car port out the back which is out of the way of others and not in the way, I had a few old plants and my daughters old pushchair and a few bits,
I was intending to get a skip and clear it in a few weeks.
Yet someone goes to the council and says i'm putting my rubbish in there, I got an official letter.
Whats the matter with some people ???
What do they gain from it ?????

They gain nothing - people like that are sad, nosy and lonely who need to get a life.
The up side to neighbours like this from my experience is that if there is any hassle in the street or kids hanging around they will phone the police and get it dealt with.

Most of the snitches are bloody benefit touts who have nothing better to do than walk around the neighbourhood and snoop.
Your "grasser" could also be some sly area proud OAP. I live beside two. Fence came down during the recent storm. The day after they came around...would report me (to the council) if I didn't fix it "soon".
It's the society now. People are asked to spy on each other. Every day it's advertised on TV and radio. "report this person if ..."
It really sucks!!! Now I'm pissed off!!!

Yeah that is petty you are right to be annoyed and the worst thing is not knowing which one of em it was. Someone grassed my friend up for keeping pets in her rented property. I kept feeling as though i had to say it wasnt me. It must have been someone who pretended to be a friend to have even got in and seen the pets.

are you sure someone grassed on you and it wasn't the rubbish inspector that goes around making sure there is no rubbish being left out i would appeal any fine you mite get as the rubbish is on private property and not causing an obstruction
