No, it's not that simple. Some few men can live without women, once they are old enough to be men and not boys. Some few women can live without men once they are past needing their fathers. And of course, some children are raised by same-sex parents and just never get to know very much about the opposite sex in a household setting, but only out in public.
But except for a few people, we need each other. And quite apart from the sexual thing, we need to be able to work together and take advantage of our differences and our similarities and all that we are to be partners, family, friends, co-workers, etc. A person who develops an active dislike for all members of the opposite sex is not comfortable or happy very often, because "they" are everywhere.
So even if you never imagine being naked together, you gotta be able to be friends, or you will lose too much of life. And if you can be close enough friends to be naked together non-judgmentally, go rent a hot tub and have a long schmooze on what it's all about.
Yes, technically, we can live without one another in some very limited, unhealthy sense. But why bother? Such isolation is not ultimately healthy.

Ideally the species could not survive or procreate without the other, however we have advanced medical science, sperm stores, test tube babies, cloning, we could probably do it at this point
hmmm however I think on the overall majority, woman can't live without man, no matter how strong some of your bra burning ladies are out there, The overall majority just couldn't get by. Men might be pigs... but the can bull through just about anything

The answer is obiously scientically mutual Nither can actually live with out the other. I am a man who would rather have a man around but if it were not for my mother who is a woman I could not live. And her as a Woman could not live with out her Father a man. but at the same time Woman cannot live with out woman as man connot live with out man.

what are you a man..or a..woman?if u are a man u want to satisfy your male ego and if you are a female you want to satisfy your feamle ego.. whatever..dont even think of living without the other...if you do that you'll miss a GREAT DEAL in life. there is a saying, " you regret when you have someone in your life, and you regret when you dont, so its a smarter choice to have someone." REST IS YOUR CHOICE.

Well women can still reproduce with frozen sperm, however men have no way of holding a baby for 9 months. So really women could carry on but men couldnt
