The Bible says that we are to Judge not, lest we be judged. How should the spirit of discernment be used in accordance with God’s Word?

In the OT a sinner was fair game

In the NT only those without sin could cast the first stone

Why did it change?

I'm talking about like in ICorinthians6:9-10 it says Do you not know that the unrightios will not inherit the kingdom of god? Do not be decieved. Neither fornicators nor idolitors, nor adulters, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will enherit the kingdom of God. This just about covers everyone yet no one says anything Why?

Is the statement "Brazilians are good at football" just as racist as the statement "Black people commit more crime"?

How about "Black people have great rythm and know how to party"?

"The English have bad teeth" or "Muslims are intolerant of other religions"?

Racial stereotypes are based on outside observations of other races which are impossible to ignore. After all, Brazil have won 6 world cups and swedish women ARE hot. By holding such expectations of races on the basis of experience am I a racist?

Or a realist?

Should one treat all people the same and not hold prejudices based on experience?

People who hate African-Americans, Jews, women or overweight people, isn't it all discrimation, be it racial, religious or etc? If not, why do you say so? Is discriminatory speech often confused with freedom of speech? Why and why not?

This question is not meant to be offensive, discriminatory, or going against one's personal preferences. I just need your opinions. Thank you.

What is your opinion?

I have always heard about how prophet Muhammad was just and merceful. Neverthless, I read a story in his biography about a woman who used to oppose him (her name was Om Karfa) and prophet Muhammad sent one of his companions to kill her and enslave her daughter. T

he story tells that the companion killed the woman in a horrible way (by tearing off her body alive) and enslaved her daughter, gave her (the daughter) to prophet Muhammed who kept her for a while and later he gave her as a 'GIFT' to his uncle.

Does this story stand with what we always hear about prophet Muhammad's being just and merceful?

Was it because of the Dark Magick they did, and the negative energies they and their belongings held? Dion Fortune in "Psychic Self-Defense" said she was given a statue
of a Buddha. She said Hi to it one morning and an entity came out of it and approached her. Her impression was that an evil person had owned and worshipped it.

This is a situation that is driving me nuts. I work in a setting where the person beside of me is pretty close and when this person is on a phone call they get very loud. I have spoken to my manager about this and he has spoken to him about it however things have not changed. I want to tell him he is being too loud and none of us appreciate it and to please keep his volume down but I'm afraid my manager will feel like I'm skipping him. What would you do?

Surely when god is to be praised by his creations the simplest thing for an omnipotent being would have been to programme them to worship him.

Instead they are advised of a just god sending them to hell for not believing.

I dont understand this does anyone else?

Why isn't offense taken when Bill Maher on HBO's "Real Time" uses a homophobic slur jokingly?
I feel as if he speaks condescendingly toward and about gaypeople, almost contempteously. Maybe he's trying to prove how much of a STRAIGHT-up goon that he is. I can't believe "The Advocate" named him "Person of the Year". It's unphathomable! They might as well had deemed Mel Gibson the saint and good samaritan throughout the whole millenium.

Why do gaypeople get selectively offended? They do nothing when Donald Trump, Imus, and the like mentions something that will only seem to discredit the homosexual community. However, they get all bent out of shape when Isaiah Washingtoon mentions the F word. I mean, what's up with that? It makes me almost ashamed to stick for gaypeople, despite my being a lesbianwoman, as if gaypeople deserve everything bad that goons throw their way.

[Luke 6:26]
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

[Matthew 15:22-26]
A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession." Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us." He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said. He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."

As I understand it the book was written by many people in Hebrew thousands of years ago. As we didn't have photocopiers or printers then I can only assume it was copied hundreds of times by hand over the years. This surely led to inaccuracies and 'God Forbid' people making changes to suit the social climate of the time. There was no version control on the Bible so how can you be sure what you read and blindly follow today is not completely different from what was in the original manuscripts? And perhaps more importantly, how do you know it wasn't just written by a bunch of nutters like David Koresh?
