Was it because of the Dark Magick they did, and the negative energies they and their belongings held? Dion Fortune in "Psychic Self-Defense" said she was given a statue
of a Buddha. She said Hi to it one morning and an entity came out of it and approached her. Her impression was that an evil person had owned and worshipped it.

I see there are many people out there that think your question is a joke or something and have no reverence for God.
The reason is that God is sovereign and his people were and are a separated people. The things of those pagan nations were tainted and could not be used in the worship of God. God called them accursed things. Men cannot take and unclean thing and make it clean. God is a provider and told his people that he would provide all that they needed. He proved it in the wilderness. Achan halfway followed Gods commandment to kill everyone and take of nothing. He took of the spoils of the enemy and hid them in his tent among the Israelites. Because of his tresspass his family and all that was his was killed and burned that day. God will always have a people. His love is not like that of the world. He is bound by his own word not to kill all his people but only destroy those who transgressed him. Even now, being in a time of grace, transgressors will still receive the wages for their sin when he appears again the second time. Hope this helps.

They were commanded not to take the items certainly because they were used in idol worship. These were not items they would want in or near their sanctuary - it would be an abomination to God to do such a thing.
One guy if you recall did take the robe of a baal priest - a kemmeran priest - God was not happy about it at all.

As far as some chick saying an entitiy popped out of a buddha; well, who knows? I think she either had a vivid immagination or else had one too many to drink. I'm not saying the evil spirit presences do not exist, they do, but there certainly is not one hiding beneath every bush, and also its pretty clear Biblically that those spirits inhabit something that is alive, not a statue; ie;
when they were ordered out of a man, and then went into the herd of swine. Living entities.

They killed for the same reason. To cleanse. The people living there were going to be killed anyway. Israel was the instrument of their execution. Just as Sodom was destroyed, those people were going to be destroyed one way or the other. The Israelites took nothing because the property of the corrupted people was unclean just as the people were corrupted with their idolatry.

Today we see many unlearned and unbelieving people eager to condemn God because of the instructions given to the Israelites. Likewise, their destruction is not far off.

Our Father takes no pleasure in the destruction of the wicked. But pleasurable or not it will be done, this time directly by Him.

For the sake of His Holy Name and for the sake of those who love Him that there may be peace among all throughout eternity.

There will be no mourning for the wicked. They will not even be remembered.

Just as blessed objects may be useful for helping one get closer to the real God, objects dedicated to the service of evil can have the opposite effect.

The people the Israelites were directed to annihilate were truly evil. They had no right to exist on earth, and were in all likelihood, the remains of the evil nephilim, who were supposed to have been wiped off the face of the planet, by Noah's flood.

Everything they possessed was saturated with evil, and could do nothing for the Israelites, but contaminate them.

God knew best, and God alone would provide for all their needs.

Satanis, if the Hebrews were commanded to do this, why are we still all alive? It's more like we have been trying to kill the Hebrews than the other way around. I'm sorry, but the rest of your question makes little sense to me, perhaps if you worded it in a intelligent manner, it would be understandable.

I never heard of that command and never heard of Dion Fortune and her entity. It sounds like I am not missing much, other than an opportunity to contribute to Dion's fortune she is making by bilking the gullible.

The Hebrews kill the inhabitants of the land in order to occupy it. They did not want to have any other culture but theirs. You will see where the did not kill the inhabitants, they had problems. Remember, the Jews in number were less that those who occupied the land.

As for your details, it shows a complete lack of understanding of the words you use.
