It is important to differentiate between fundamentalists and radicals. Radicals would be an abberation because they are only taking one part of the Muslim religion to suit their personal tastes or beliefs. Radicals may be fundamentalists who have gotten extremely misguided by their mullahs, similar to the crusaders who blindly followed the call of the popes to their deaths. The true followers of Mohammed have respect for all life and are told to live with their fellow man.
