ive just moved into aussie, and im a chinese teen.
ive just spent two days here. and the feedback is horrible.
my aunt was on the tram in melbourne and this white girl stared at her as though she was dirt trash. like my aunt did not deserve to be there because she was asian! and i smiled at another white girl on my way out of a restaurant and she gave me a bitchy-get away look. is this just ppl being mean? or is it racism? i sometimes wonder if i was white, how would it be like? i also never see any group of friends that are mixed with white and asians and indians and others. why is this?? from where i am from, malaysia, i have friends of all races and we hang and bum around with everyone not caring about colour! is this really australia? or is it me being paranoid?

What is going on? Everywhere I look, the UK (an island that used to be proud and great) is exporting the most shameful and cringe-worthy people across the globe.

We have the pathetic, grovelling weasel Blair as a 'leader' who does whatever he is told and never fails to lick the boots of people who control him while making the UK look like a subservient state who bow down to the US..

We have Westwood 'repping the UK' on Radio 1 with his hideously embarrassing attempts to be a gangster even though he looks like someone's Dad.

(see my other question about HIM : http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnyeaV4dcRHqSkpufwTjeVggBgx.?qid=20070206143759AAJ4VIO)

We have Jade Goody, a fat slob chav celebrity. Jamie Oliver, Hugh Grant.. it goes on, and on...

Exactly what the **** is going on? Is there one big conspiracy going on to make the UK the laughing stock of the world? Why can we not export anyone remotely respectable?

What must the rest of the world think of us?

Did he die because his earthly body must die? If Jesus' body was earthly, wouldn't he have sinned? Since Jesus was strong and could heal people and perform miracles, how did he make himself weak?

- I wish to know the answers to these questions because i am struggling with my beliefs. I want to believe in Jesus because I feel i am missing something in life. Also I care about my salvation. Thank you to anyone that can help me out.

recently my friend encountered with an accident that resulted in some seriously deep cuts( stitches needed ) and bruises throughout the upper part of the body including the face. Will our sincere apologies to the victim family be enough? as we believe that we are partly guilty as to the accident or should we compensate them with a sum of money among those involved? or both? thx

If only we could overcome immature fears of punishment, and realize it is those fears that stem from guilt, that creates the irrational thought that makes us "reject" the spiritual,
that gets us in trouble on the spiritul level.
And that by personal spiritul experience, we can dissolve doubts and fears, and have hope for the future, and peace of mind in the present?

I am about to graduate from University and have absolutely no idea what I want to do or become- it is quite daunting to be going out in to the real world with no idea of what I should do.

I get really in to something for say a fortnight, really read up on it, then just as soon develop another obsession with something entirely unrelated- this carries on in a never-ending cycle, so please don't say I need to find something new to really interest me!

What can I do to give my life focus? Thanks!

People who follow a religion of their choosing abide by it because they really and truly believe they are doing the right thing (that includes athiests too). Everyone thinks their religion (or non-religion) is right, even though each religion can be very different from the other. We all know the sky is blue, so we don't go to war over that. Religion is a different story, wars have been fought for centuries over religion. Has any religious person (or atheist) ever pondered the matter, and asked themselves 'am I believing/following the wrong thing? Sometimes I ask myself that question and wonder if anyone else did too.

I have been told by athiest that we were created from energy and molecule's.Just for aruguments sake How logical is it for one to think energy and a molecue has the ability to have logical common sense. We refer to energy and molecue's as thing's, lightning, global warming, hurricane's,light bulbs, etc. energy does not have a brain to think and be logical with.,logic tells me human being's are called humans, animal's are called animals, and energy is refered to has things for a reason. So really just something to think about, do you really think it is logical to think your ability to have logic about things came from a thing like energy, instead of a bible claiming God sent Jesus to earth as a human and is a part of us all.I beg to differ that we are nothing more than a thing made from energy.I think we all believe in God,but to believe in God and denie him for selfish reasons isn't logical,so you denie he is real, then it makes more sense than to denie the one who created and died for you.
