what you'll do is just stay in the line where you are....Whenever there is a senior citizen ahead of you, don't put in your mind that you would take a long time in there. Just be patient and don't rush up, remember that the person ahead of you is a senior citizen. Try to put your self in to his/her place, what would you feel if the younger ones behind you are getting pissed off just because your so slow...?

Stay in the line, most seniors use cash to pay, not credit cards and the like which tend to take time when they stuff up (often). If you feel the need to move you are suffering from some form of impatience, take a deep breathe and be calm.

I would stay in line. Just because it's a senior citizen ahead of me, doesn't mean that he/she is going to take a long time.

Stay in that line. Usually when ever I move to another line, the line I was in moves faster than I thought. Seniors are not as bad as we think. Some younger people move slower.

some people that are snobs or are in a hurry or have little kids would move because the senior citizens can't go fast because they are older but me myself i don't care that is unless i am in a hurry so it all depends but i think that most the time it is just in our heads that they are slow because look at teenagers they just fool around at the cash register most of the time and that takes even longer tha n an elderly person and look at some of us with kids the kids are screaming most of the tim and we have to take care of them first than check out. and even a person that is young and doesn't have to deal with any of that they still might have problems checking out i mean if it is one of those self check out then the thing might just break down and that is just luck that could happen to a senior citizen or not. so i really think that it is just in our heads.

I generally shoplift, but in the scope of this question (like a previous post stated), you've given me no reason to believe that the senior customer is going to cause me an inconvenience. Prior experience would suggest that there may be somewhat of a delay if the customer wishes to use the charge card swipe machine, but that delay is not enough to raise red flags.

i would stay in line and wait,
i live in newfoundland and by far im surrounded by a large number of seniors, in our area,
seniors take just as much time as anyone else who is in line with the same items, shopping is not a race,
ive seen myself take more time trying to find my bank card

Move to another queue. I've stood behind too many senior citizens and waited longer than I could have.

I would just stay in line Senior cits are more likely to pay with cash instead of card therefore it would be quicker.

It would depend entirely on which line was longer, not the age of the person in front of me.
