No i dont. At least an effort is being made, to avoid offending some people.

Come on - everyone knows it is just a mispronunciation of ****. So if a person finds **** offencive then it is likely they will find feck offencive too. Personally I don't have too much of a problem with it - until it is used against someone else in anger. Even then I don't think it is the word that is the problem, but rather the rage behind it. Lost of people use it though just as emphasis. Oh look the Yahoo software finds **** offensive but not feck :)

Yes, it is still meant to be offencive but the user hides behind a euphemism. It is the thought or lack of it expressed that is offensive not the mere combination of sounds or letters.

Generally words that are intended to be offensive cause offence!
Why should anyone WANT to cause offence?
What's wrong with English, anyhow?
Why use words that have no meaning (If everyone knows what you really mean, isn't that the same as using the original?)
