As the media changes its reach to cover the events of the world do we percieve it to be getting worse or is it just that its the same old stuff on a different day. Not to be deatached but the stories stay the same and the faces seem a blur but only the names change. Or could it be that as the population increases the sins stay the same but the number of sinners change resulting in an increased sense of corruption and violence?

Rule 1: Treat others as you would like to be treated
Rule 2: Believe in God (If you want) but dont try and project your beliefs onto others
Rule 3: Have fun

They are all special in there own way and after being married for the past 8 years do want to settle down with just one. They all know that I date. I do care for everones feeling but this is a made up Hallmark holiday and if I choose to do the gift or card thing I do it anyway. I do not want to have to make a decision that is forced apon me for material holiday sake. Can anyone offer me sage advise without being angry or thinking I am a pig? I am looking for the one but this time I want to take my time.

This letter was sent to the principal's office after an elementary school had sponsored a luncheon for the elderly. An old lady won a new radio as a door prize, and wrote to say thank you.
This story is a credit to all human kind.
Forward to anyone you know who might need a lift today.

Dear Faculty and Students,
God bless you for the beautiful radio I won at your senior citizens' luncheon.
I am 84 years old and live at an Assisted Home for the Aged. My family has passed away. I am all alone now and it's nice to know someone is thinking of me. God bless you for your kindness to an old lady. My roommate is 95 and has her own radio. She never lets me listen to hers, even when she was napping. Then one day her radio fell off the nite stand & broke into little pieces. She cried a lot and ask if she could listen to mine. I said f*** you bit**. Thanks for letting me share this with you.
Love
Agnes

I have had experiences with ghosts and such for a good portion of my life and I find it very annoying. My life will never go back to normal because I am so intuned with these spirits. I'd love to ignore them completely but they won't let me. My best friend says to suck it up and deal with it but I don't want to. I just want them to go away and leave me alone. How would you come to terms with all this so that you can move on?

There is really nothing you must be and there is nothing you must do. There is really nothing you must have and there is nothing you must know. There is really nothing you must become. However, it helps to understand that fire burns, and when it rains, the earth gets wet.

Qabalistically speaking... I see Tipheret as symbol... embodied by the Christ figure it seems to lose the grandiose divinity that it represents... perhaps I am wrong. It does unite the lower with the upper with a high degree of sacrifice...

I see a lot of answers regarding questiond about a religion and was answered by people from another religion,

e.g. Mike was asking why is alcohol forbidden in Islam, and George, a Christian answered with "I think so".

Variations:

"I think so."
"It should be."
"Maybe"
"Probably."

I myself, a muslim, sometimes ask questions regarding Christianity and the Bible. I want a Christian to answer it, not an Atheist, not another muslim, not an atheist, not a "christian", I want a bona fide Christian to answer.

I mean come on if you guys keep up with these "I think so" then it's like a Hindu explaining Christianity. Then boom, misunderstanding, prejudice, hatred and never ending war.

So the question is, how silly is a Hindu explaining Christianity?

It CONSTANTLY does this:
1-Yahoo! Answers keeps telling me (In edit your info): Get a Yahoo! 360 now, although I already have one (And it used to show the link to my 360 but now it doesn't).
2-Sharing photos ALWAYS sets itself to be shown by "Private" although I set it to public, HELP!

I said to my girlfriend where she wanted to go for Valentines Day. She said which restaurant, and I sent her a text saying what time she wanted. She sent a text back saying the time, and so I rang the restaurant to book a table. She then tells me today that she rang the restaurant to check that I had booked the table. Don't like that!

Is that normal, or have I overreacted by saying that surely she could have trusted me to book a table.

so like, i get it, the bit where someone says 'will you be my valentine?'
and you say yes or no.
but what exactly does yes mean?
do i owe a date?
a kiss?
or are they just expressing interest?
i don't get it.
