Yes to answer your question. Moses became a god in Exodus 7:1 and Adam became like god in Gen-3:22.

But this all depends on your definition or concept of god. The god of the bible has a number of physical attributes and i even capable of making mistakes. We know this because he repented in Gen-6:6,7 & Ex-32:14- which is showing his regrets and feeling sorry for what he has done because it did not go according to plan. He also has emotions that he can't control, like jealousy- "I am a jealous GOD". So the biblical is very human when examined closely.

We as humans have divinity within us which can be developed to higher degrees by fasting, meditating, prayer and proper diet. In the highest state of this practice we elevated to being a god.

Well Buddha was once a living breathing Indian prince, so yes.

The prince Siddhartha urged his followers not to proclaim him as a god but they did anyway so there he is in a fat (oriental) form or a skinny (Indian) form. A religious idol. A god.

True God? No. God is beyond our limited human comprehension, any books that claim you can become God are foolish really.

In this life itself we can realise God by a simple meditation and merge with the Ultimate.

You must have to understood the fact that
God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

It depends on the culture. The Japanese Emperor was a living god for centuries. He only relinquished his godhood after WWII. Many Roman emperors were declared gods. The Emperor of Ethiopia was a god.

Irrelevant question. Didn't your mum ever tell you not to believe everything you read? The only reliable book is the Holy Bible and noting else. If you made a pot example out of clay, can that pot become you/person? The answer is no.

We only know that God became a person to carry the death penalty Adam was convicted with. But a man with flesh & bones, this weak creature who can die by a simple virus of influenza become a God? That is impossible. Though God called us kings only to remind us of our forgotten glory.
You know, even the devil will perish one day. The one who will exist for ever is God & all who beleived in Him.

Quoting from the book of psalms 82;6
The bible says that ye (humans) are gods and are all children of the Most High. But you shall die like men and fall like one of the the princes. Why? because they don't know, nor do they understand.

When divinity dawns in a person he become a tool of God.

God is not the tool.

However people name that tool as God as it is not possible for them experience it otherwise.

We are commanded to be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect. If that is the case then how can perfect be more perfect than perfect? Both are the same. So I think what you say is possible...but it might take close to an eternity to become perfect.
