so like, i get it, the bit where someone says 'will you be my valentine?'
and you say yes or no.
but what exactly does yes mean?
do i owe a date?
a kiss?
or are they just expressing interest?
i don't get it.

Valentine's Day is the day that has been set aside for people to show their affection towards one another. If a boy asks you to be his Valentine, he more than likely has a romantic interest in you.Depending on how he approaches you: a card, candy, flowers, or some token of affection, it is for you to decide whether you want to return his advances. Hope you get a Valentine from someone you have your eye on... Have a HAPPY VALENTINES DAY !!!!!!!!

Can you be my valentine literally means will you go out with me on a date. If you enjoy yourself and are comfortable with it, you can plant a kiss on your valentine at the end of the day. If you are not comfortable, you are not obliged for anything.

Follow up dates are upto you and how things are going between you guys.

Good luck and I hope you have a great V Day!
