Do you hate it when someone parks next to you and is too close? Why do people dissrespect us like that? Don't they know that we are people too and need our space? What do you do when this happens to you? Would you do it again?

I am feeling your pain honey. Although I'm slender and can wiggle around it, there have been times when I've been pregnant and my rear end entered the next zip code, making it impossible for me to open the door, much less get back in my vehicle. When this would happen, not only would I raise my blood pressure in a fit of unforgiveable rage, but I would get even. First I would write them a little note and stick it to their windshield, when that seemed to bring me little comfort, I would go a step further and make it a nasty note. One time, and this may have been going too far, I taped a little sign to that person's bumper that read "I'm a rude driver who has no respect for anyone". I saw that same car two days later (they work in the office upstairs from mine) and the sign was still there. Unfortunately there isn't a whole heck of alot we can do, other than hope we catch that person doing it and return the favor when they are getting out of their car...just to teach them a lesson if nothing else.

I hope you find a solution to your plight!

Well it does piss me off. I have a nice car paid for and I take care off

The pisser is I park way out in the parking lot away from every one, and I be a s.o.b. if some as* hasn't parked next to me........I have left notes

I have been sitting in a car and some one get out next to us and hit it....well I have gotten out and asked what was wrong with them.....but they always have a piece of sh*t car and are trash

I guess people who do this are jealous of what you have or just don't give a rats-a*s about anything but them if that

Ever parallel park or see some one trying to get out/in the spot hitting the car in front and behind them like a million times that's a pisser to

At this point, you have been forced to retaliate. You have only 3 options.

1. Unscrew their valve stem cap. Place a few small pebbles in the cap. Last screw the cap until you hear air coming out.

2. Run a key along side their car.

3. Take your elbow or a hard object and smash their side view mirror.

You have a good chance at getting in trouble/jail with these methods, so do it at your own risk.

If they park too close as I am getting out of my car, I'll say something to them. If I come back to my car to find that I need a can opener to get in, I'll leave them a note pointing out that they're lucky that all they got were a few insults instead of getting their passenger door keyed!

I know it is irritating, but I would just ignore it because it only happens every now and then. I would not let it ruin my day. I can certainly understand your feelings, though. Have a great day and don't let the little things upset you.

I do what ever it takes to get in my truck,or get it out of a parking spot. That's what insurance is for.

I have a friend that printed out flyers with a picture of a cartoon character giving you the bird.... on it, it says "Thanks for parking so close! Next time, leave me a f***ing can opener so I can get my car out!" She leaves them on the cars of the culprits.... Of course, it doesn't accomplish anything, but she gets a kick out of it!
