In September I had the privilege of attending the wedding of two women friends. I know you’re all gonna ask so yes they both wore white gowns.

The ceremony was on Cape Cod, MA it was an awesome day (you would’t believe what they had to pay for that weather) the brides were gorgeous the ceremony was beautiful and the reception, quite the party.

Here’s the question: I believe that marriage is a commitment between two people that love each other and are ready to share their lives together, and that in the eye’s of the state anything as defined above should be considered a civil union, so, man woman, man man, woman man, woman woman, in the eye’s of the state are all exactly the same thing.

Yes, no, other ideas?

How do you think the first wolrd-changing churches operated.

If you were once Christian, did the church you attended have people speaking in tongues, prophecying, being slain in the spirit, drunk in the spirit, etc?

Do you think evangelical Christians are abnormal Christians because they are a minority?

If you're curious as to a biblical definition, Acts pretty well describes what Church should be like. You might be surprised

It seems ID is constantly misrepresented in the media because of the dominance of darwinists like Richard Dawkins. Its not Creationism which is based on faith but based on examining the evidence found in the complex structures that sustain life.

Message from a Yank to a Brit?
I'll be straight to the point. America and the United Kingdom are the best of friends and each others greatest allies. Our similarities and the common ground we share far out weighs our differences.
We have always been there for each other ( although sometimes late in coming) and need to maintain our "special relationship". And make no mistake, our relationship is special - but that’s a topic for another time. Anyway, what I see going on between our two countries is just terrible. There is still great love and admiration felt both ways by many of us, but clearly there is a growing divide between our nations. The comments on yahoo answers - which should be taken with a grain of salt - are still disturbing and are very destructive. COMMENTS FROM BOTH US/UK
Bottom line, the hate filled messages we send to one another on here MUST stop.( I admit I too have been guilty of this, but have seen the error of my ways – yes that sounds corny, but I mean it.) There is nothing wrong with disagreeing and debate, but needs to be handled maturely. Why don’t we try using “constructive criticism” rather than personal attacks – which quite frankly are usually off base – and try to objectively examine things as if we were in one another shoes. Never forget we are far more alike than we are different.!

If America and Britain cannot get along, there is no hope for the world.
What say you? How do you feel?

I have friend whos husband is divorcing her. He says he still loves her and really wants to be with her but just can't. There have been problems from both of them. But do you think if they are both "Christians" and ask God to help them through this that they will be able to work things out?

Do you consider it descrimination if a Christian is allowed to skip required overtime on Sundays, or if they're not allowed to?

Which is worse? Treating them special, or treating them like everyone else.

I know this has been a recent fascination over this subject.
I am just curious WHEN this fad started?

If you want to answer that question, then , if you want, you could tell me exactly WHY ?(or what to it) Because I know these people being considered Chavs have been here for longer than the past five years. It is not like they immigrated here or anything.

Why do so many people judge people based on their appearance instead of what is in the inside? It seems that people will be more concerned with how their hair or skin looks instead of how much of a good person they are. Im just so sick of people who judge others by appearance. I used to have a very low self esteem in the way i look but now im proud of the beautiful person i am in the inside. It is so important to remember that we are NOT our hair, we are NOT our skin, We are the soal that lives within.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more: death hath no more dominion over him.

Romans 6:3
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death.
