Because God is like nothing else, neither male nor female, and He described Himself as a He in the known revelations, so we should just follow His method.

because God refers to Himself in his divine books as He. it is not a man made concept for the believers of religion. but if you don't believe then you wouldn't understand

Thats the way the English language is constructed we do not have gender neutral pronouns for people.
