Tell me, is there more light at night during a full moon, or when it is hidden.

Even if you are in a dark area you will ask where is that light coming from when you see a reflection of light.

The moon has been referred to as a "Lesser Light". It is actually the blown off mantle of the earth and does reflect the light of the sun. Without the moon life on earth would be quite different as it keeps the earth's wobble to a minimum and allows for the seasons. If you still believe it is just "an orb of dirt" try going out and firing a rifle at it to see if it disintegrates into dirt to prove your theory. I am sure there are many folks who would be entertained by your shooting the moon.

If the moon is a light then everything that isn't completely black is a lgiht. All the moon does is reflect light. It is not a source of light.
