Someone once said to me "I am convinced that noone can change" I just believe that if you have God in your life that he can change someone who is willing. Anyone else feel this way?

No. God(dess) made us as we are. We are perfect incarnations of the intentions of the creative force.

We were not made incorrectly, therefore we need not change. Suggesting we should change is suggesting the God(des) made us incorrectly.

If a person is WILLING to look and seek then once they accept God and Jesus he will start to change their heart.

J.R.R. Tolkien had debated and talked with C.S. Lewis with logical arguments etc. and

"That which I greatly feared had at last come upon me. In the Trinity Term of 1929 I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England. I did not then see what is now the most shining and obvious thing; the Divine humility which will accept a convert even on such terms. The Prodigal Son at least walked home on his own feet. But who can duly adore that Love which will open the high gates to prodigal who is brought in kicking, struggling, resentful, and darting his eyes in every direction for a chance of escape?" - C.S Lewis

He changed to become one of the most prolific and pronounced of Christian authors! Mere Chrisitianity is probably his best known book.

Yes, but the willingness, and dedication to that change is still not easy for many to make.
You can't just order change, like at the drive-thru.
It takes a concentrated effort. God is there if asked, to help, guide, and stengthen our resolve.
God, doesn't do the work and put out the effort for you. You have to do all you can within your means to change, and pray God will give you the help to get further than you can by yourself.

Maybe having a belief in God as a part of your life can encourage change, but God himself doesn't change people. That would be saying that He "selects" people to change, which would make one wonder why He chose "this" person to change, over "that" person to change and why doesn't He "make" the evilest ones change? Why does he wait until people get into prison to change them? People change when they decide to live any other way, than the way they've been living.

Yes, I feel that God can change anyone that wants to be changed and some that don't

I assume you are referring to who we are as far as our motives. I believe we have the free will to change who we are, whether it be for the better or the worst. I've seen people change for the better when they take bible principles to heart and they were willing. God doesn't force us. I would not know about other religions.

King David was a killer, adulter and many other things. He wrote in Psalms 51:

Psalm 51
When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.

1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.

4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight,
so that you are proved right when you speak
and justified when you judge.

5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

6 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts [a] ;
you teach [b] me wisdom in the inmost place.

7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.

9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will turn back to you.

14 Save me from bloodguilt, O God,
the God who saves me,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

15 O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth will declare your praise.

16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

17 The sacrifices of God are [c] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart,
O God, you will not despise.

18 In your good pleasure make Zion prosper;
build up the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then there will be righteous sacrifices,
whole burnt offerings to delight you;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

God changed him, whe n he confessed his sins.

Acts 13:22 says, "‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’

If He can change David, the Lord can change anyone who is will to give himself entirely to Him.

It is His goodness that leads us to repentance (changing of mindset).

I have seen how God's goodness changed a lot of people whereby in the natural, no one would have thought it's possible.

To that someone to told you that no one can change. Tell that someone that with man it is impossible but to God, nothing is impossible.

It was through the power and grace of God that I was changed from a sinful man to one that knows God and Jesus Christ.

Nope. God can provide the motivation to change but the change must be by the person himself, otherwise it is not free choice.
